welcome to disboards
does you pet travel well?
is he friendly?
does react to strange places and strange noises?
the first two need to be yes - the third one can be maybe
Spicey, my cat, has been going to WDW since he was 3 months old - he is now 17 years old and still going strong.
I spend a couple of hours (at least) with him daily and nightly especially nightly - he has stayed at the kennels in Epcot, MK(T/T), Studios and FW - I can recommend FW and Epcot - there have been complaints about Epcot - inproper care on this site in another board - to my knowledge there are no complaints about FW.
I recommend them because Spicey (despite being a cat) likes to walk - MK(T/T) has the buses behind and besides it - very noisey and at the best of times buses are smelly - not a great area to walk
Studios and AK don't have enough room.
FW and Epcot both have enough room for a good workout with your pet no matter what he or she is.
both places want you to walk your pet at least 3 times a day - Epcot will do one of them for $2.50 per walk per day.
there also a long list of other kennels in the area.
I got this website from that other board
http://www.abka.org/
the only problem I have with using any of them is the hours - most close at 5:00pm - they have regular working hours - WDW kennels are generally open later -
Spicey likes a night walk......
Now if you want a great hotel that allows you to have your pet with you - then I recommend Universal's hotels.
Oh I bring his stuff - bed, blanket for the cage, food, cat litter (this is not necessary - but he can be difficult). I use to bring toys - but he would rather walk outside than play inside.
you should bring the stuff that will make your animal feel comfortable....be sure to bring his lease and collar....
here is the kennel information for WDW site
