Pets at CBR-Trinidad South?

I heard that rumor last year and again this year: Disney is/was considering making the Caribbean's Trinidad South a pet friendly building.

There was also supposed to be some new pet hotel on Bonnet Creek? ANy word on those?

The hotel on Bonnet Creek is a Four Seasons, which is by default, Pet Friendly based on the Four Season affiliation.

Haven't heard of the other rumor, so I cannot comment.

Yes. Best Friends Pet Care Inc. is supposed to build a luxury pet "resort" on Bonnett Creek Parkway at Walt Disney World Resort, "providing a full range of pet hospitality services including dog and cat boarding, day care and grooming services, and doggy day camp."

It was supposed to open in mid-2009, but it's now the end of 2009, and there hasn't been any recent news about the facility.

Best Friends Pet Care currently operates five pet care facilities at WDW, which they took over from Disney.

I don't think I said Best Friends Pet Care resort was any way related to Four Seasons, I just was stating that the Four Seasons is a pet friendly resort (one of the finer ones too).

I don't believe the CBR part of that rumor at all. Why would they have wasted money renovating the Trinidad South rooms into pirate rooms that they charge a premium for, only to turn around and make it pet friendly which would lead to many guests not wanting to book that section (allergies, fear of odor...)? Are you sure it wasn't another section or resort?
