Pets at a near by Hotel

My Mother will be visiting our last weekend at the world. She needs a close hotel thats pet friendly.

I know that the Homewood Suites on Parkway Blvd in Kissimmee allows dogs. Parkway Blvd is off 192 not to far from the parks.


You can also try the Amerisuites or Country Inn and Suites at Calypso Cay, they allow pets also. These hotels are off 535 not to far from DD.

Thanks, we will look in to those. Does anyone know if Larsons Lodge on 192 allows small dogs?

all WDW resort hotels can use the WDW kennels - yes I use them Spicey is happy to stay there - get away from both me and his brother and sister.

however I am a firm believed in walking your animal - and I don't mean for a 5 minutes 3 times a day - Spicey get a real walk generally between a half hour and hour 3 to 4 times a day.

if you or she isn't going to make this time committed to the animal try to talk her out of bring it. get a pet sitter for he/her and leave them at home.

all the Universal on site hotels welcome pets - and I mean welcome - it is to my knowledge the only 4 star (should be 5) in Orlando that do - they are lowes hotels

The extremely nice La Quinta on Universal (across from the convention center, next door to the Castle) allows pets. When I first moved down I stayed there for over a week with a high-strung cat, and she did just fine.

I think all La Quintas allow pets, actually.
