like their parent died and they need to stay away from the computer becuase of that or your failing a class and u need to keep up
What would make them NEED to stay away from the computer after a death? It might help since it'd be a nice relief from the real world.

Like someone has has stated- VMK is sort of a relief and a getaway from the real world. For many players its also that "happy place" they can go to and be relaxed. If someone died in your family I am sure they would be on, but if they weren't then again- I dont think a magic pin would be the thing on their mind ;)

If you are failing a class you dont deserve to be on the computer or VMK at that. Your schooling and studying should come first, and if you cant keep up then VMK shouldnt be on your mind. Also Magic Pin should be far from what you should be trying to get if you are doing bad in a class. I am not sure who you are speaking for when you said this, but whoever it concerns they should get their priorities straight if they think VMK and Magic Pin(s) are more important than their schooling.

:thumbsup2 Very nicely said.

I prefer that is remain non-tradeable. It is nice to have something in the game that requires a little effort on part of the owner of the item. JMO.

If VMK needs to make a non-tradeable item tradeable, I say make it the blue santa hat. I like that we have to spend a little to get something back with the salad magic!

Hooray for earning your own salad! And can I have some ranch dressing with that? :yay:

If you miss an item, too bad. You're out of luck, thats how the game is played.

I went camping when purple superhero came put. Love the costume, but i've never had it.
Believe me, ive gotten over it ;)

Yeah, if someone is in mourning, they're not thinking about getting a magic pin on vmk. That doesn't mean that they won't want one next month.

And you should be aware that some faiths and cultures have a very regimented mourning process, where even if someone is feeling better emotionally, they're expected to behave in a certain way and do certain things out of respect for the person who's just died. It's not unthinkable (in fact, it's much more common than you might think) for someone to be offline for a month because of a death in the family: not just because they're too distraught to think of playing games, but because they feel it's the right thing to do. So while timber was only speaking for himself, it's not as though there's nobody else who might have a similar experience.

And, of course, what about players who haven't even heard of vmk yet? Is it really so important to identify who did and didn't ride a dark ride during March '08 that nobody else should ever have access to a turn-into-coral pin? Like I said, it's not exactly an accomplishment - it looks like most people are getting SitS pins at least every third ride, and pulling the sword out about every third pull. That's six rides at the most. How's that an accomplishment? It makes sense for it to be nontradeable now, just like it made sense for dream ears to be nontradeable during September. But as soon as they change the SitS prize again, they really ought to make it tradeable. And they can do the same to that thanksgiving pin while they're at it!

I might want it to become tradeable because they would make great quest prizes.

I agree with everything said in this post :goodvibes

im not failing a class so im just saying that could be a case

I know, but I was just agreeing to VMK_KrazyLuke's post which states that IF you are failing a class or IF something catastrophic happens in your family, VMK should not be the first thing on your mind. :goodvibes

WHY does it even matter? Im sure staff do read this board, but why dont you just chill and let them decide on what to do?

I dont want to be offensive/rude but i mean really lol.

Its easy to think that way when the item is easily obtained, but if it becomes tradeable after it is retired I can almost guarantee that the attitude towards this magic will change.

Not that easy.

Eventually, it cost me 300 credits just to get 3.
Not to mention, riding kept me from earning credits. Because of this, I now have not been able to buy all the Shark magic I need.
I only hope that both are still available for a while.

I only got 3 in a row 2 times then i got like 2 in a row a lot of times, but it keeps u from gaining credits and I takes hours

Huh?

I never got 3 in a row.
I got 3 pins a bunch of rides and SIS pins apart. But it's cost me at least 300 credits plus the thousands of credits that I didn't earn due to riding.
