Is Peter Pan a pixie?

No, Peter is a regular human boy. According to the book, his mother was in the park pushing him around in his pram and left him behind by accident while talking to a friend. Tinker Bell saw him and decided his mom didn't want him (since she was so busy gabbing) and spirited him away.
