Tall guy- fantastic husband that I can spot in crowds
short guy- 7 year old version of tall guy
photo gal-- me

Monday, April 18th - visiting MK with everyone else!

We had heard and could tell by the crowds at our hotel (AKL) that this was going to be a very busy day. I had also made reservations for a family magic tour that morning ( a surprise for short guy). So up and out we went. Watched the opening ceremony-- neat! Then entered and headed straight for, you guessed it-- Buzz Lightyear! Short guy loves this ride and tall guy and photo gal duke it out to see who gets the top score! Fun! Fun! Fun! Get off, grab fast pass. and head over to meet Buzz, who is out for photo's. Now, short guy is dying to meet Buzz and tell him about our basement- which we painted all in Buzz lightyear colors- blaster blue- a color that pretty much glows in the dark, space ranger green- the dis's favorite color, and rocket red. Needless to say, short guy spent a lot of time telling Buzz all about the basement colors. Cute! Then we saw that Stitch was out. Short guy has a love of stitch beyond my comprehension. I'm sure it has to do with all the bodily function noises ans stuff that Stitch does. Right now, those are the funniest jokes in our house according to short guy. Short Guy and his various friends find humor in burps, toots, and various other functions. So over we go. Stitch takes one look at short guy and then licks his face. They pose for a photo and then, much to short guys delight, Stitch picks his nose and wipes it on short guy. Total riot! It is then time to tear short guy away and head off for the surpirse tour. Short guy was a little upset at photo gal that we were heading back down mainstreet, where there are no rides. Then we check in for the tour and short guy is looking a little confused about being handed a broom. Then photo gal had a proud mom moment when short guy anounces that he would love to help clean the park so that everyone can enjoy a clean place to have fun! :earboy2: Warning== Spoiler ahead--- When our wonderful CM Cory ( we love Cory!!!) explained that we needed to get Captain Hook's hook back, short guy was thrilled. Although, he did mention that he kind of liked pirates and it would be okay with him if they took over for a little while. Short guy got to read the first clue and we were off! There was 2 other families on the tour and it took us a while to get them to leave the Mickey dust and follow along. :) The park was packed so it was a little interesting to try and keep the whole group together. We were silly and had a bunch of fun! Short guy took a great liking to Cory and walked as close to him as he possibly could. very cute! When we finally found the hook, along with Peter Pan and Wendy- short guy could barely contain his excitement. He saddled up to Peter and never left his side! We all headed over to IASW to ride together. Short Guy was in heaven, riding with Peter! Short guy's grin went frome ear to ear! :goodvibes Great tour, highly recommended. Characters were awesome and the CM were fabulous!

After our adventure, we went back to the hotel for lunch and a swim ( the weather was finally warm enough and the winds had calmed down) besides, the park was packed! :crowded:

Tall guy and short guy ate fast and headed to the pool. Photo gal did some last minute gift shopping and then went down to eat. The pool looked good so I went up to my room to change so I could join the "guys." Before I could get down there, short guy and tall guy came walking through the door. Tall guy announced that the life guard had everyone leave the pool so they could perform an "Unexpected cleanup." When Tall guy saw the lifeguard put on rubber gloves and a net, he decided he was done with the pool. As Tall guy put it, anything that requires rubber gloves and a net can't be good. Yuck :earboy2: We cleaned up and headed back to MK for dinner and to watch spectro and wishes.

Once again, parks very crowded! Used some of our fast passes we had collected earlier in the day. Then photo gal decided to save space for parade while the guys rode some more rides. Good thing I'm so smart and patient. I staked out a place an hour and a half before the parade and within ten minutes every space was filled in around me. Guys came back about 1/2 hour before parade carrying ice cream. I knew I loved Tall guy, but now I know why! :teeth: We have nver seen this parade before. Very cool! After the parade, waded through to the tomorrowland bridge to watch Wishes. Wow! Photo gal was very happy! Decided to call it a night even though the park was staying open 'til midnight. Good thing we had Tall guy to blaze a trail for us! Made a mental note to self that sandels are not a good thing when it is this crowded. Was in for a massive shock at the bus depot! Have always stayed at a monorail resort. I do have to say that they had buses running through fairly quickly, but even then we had to wait through three buses before we were able to board and it was standing room only! We were glad to see our room!

Great reports! Love the stitch comment. My DS would love that too!

Really enjoyed your reports. We have done the FM Tour three times now and the kids just love it. One of the best bargains on property I think.

Thanks for sharing. Loved your reports
