If we use LL for Peter Pan, do we skip past the part of the que that offers shadow play, Wendy's bedroom, etc? I would like my family, whose never seen the newer que features, to experience that part of the que so dont want to do LL if it bypasses it. TIA

Yes, you skip everything and only see the very end of the queue before merging and getting on the ride.

I would try to either rope drop it if staying on site, or get in line one minute before closing if you’d like to see the queue.

Watch the lines on the app. Our last trip, we rode it at RD and had a short line. Then it increased to about 60 minutes. Mid afternoon, dropped to under 30 minutes and stayed there for quite a while.
If that doesn't happen, riding at RD or end of the day are good options.
