I know there are lots of you who have hoped and waited for a character meal more suited to young boys. I just read an update on mouseplanet about the temporary dinner buffet set up at the El pirata y El perico. The article states that management hinted that the buffet may stay around and that characters (Peter Pan is mentioned) may be added! Of course this is speculation at this point but it is exciting! :flower:

I sure hope that happens! My DS6 pirate: and DD4 princess: will both love it!!!! Thanks for the info.

THis would be great for my DS. We really want Toy Story but ANY boys meal will work. Let's get this up there with posts so the people at Disney notice like they did with the code board. :rotfl2:

Yes! I really hope this is true, my boys would love it!

Who do you think the characters would be?

Peter Pan, Captain Hook & Mr. Smee?

Aladdin & Geenie? (We get to see him alot near the Magic Carpets)

Dare I say it? JACK SPARROW?????

They most definately need something geared to boys (not just the pre-school set)

That would be great! :wave2: We have two sons and with plans for a second trip coming soon we sure would love to see more appropriate character dining for young men. They certainly have the girls well covered.

That would be so cool ... as my nephew thinks we doing too many girly things :rotfl:

I have two dd's but I feel your pain - my 8yo dosen't do princesses but LOVES peter pan. She figure skates and her competition program this year is a compliation of music from the musical Peter Pan but she insisted on a competition dress that was peter not tink. Her coach ended up making it for her from a darker green material as all we could find was "tink type stuff". She would love this meal - her second fav is Jessie so we are also on the lookout for that toy story meal with all you "moms of boys".

FWIW - I just got breakfast at Ohana with Lilo and Stitch for Saturday! I will give a report if anyone is interested.

You know....If they added Tink and Wendy in with Peter and Captain Hook, this would be a much sought after character experience. This would please both boys and girls!! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

I'd definately want to go to a peter pan charector meal. I love captain hook and of course tink. I think that would be a hard to get meal once word were to get out about it.

Oh.....And I am excited about Lilo and Stitch at O'hana. Makes more sense to have them at the Polynesian! Both my daughter and my son will love this! (Well...my son is pretty easy to please at present since he is 7 months old :teeth: )

If this is true, I'd be first in line, clutching my credit card in one hand and the phone in the other at 6:57 am!

Wow, that would be terrific. I have two girls that are into the princesses. But they love Peter Pan and Tink too. I agree there needs to be a character meal for the boys. How exciting!!

OOOH! I Hope so! Having a boy and 3 girls, this would be great! They all would love it!

Yes, please report on Lilo and Stitch. we have an ADR for 12/6. Can't wait! And my 2 boys and DD would LOVE a PP meal and Toy Story Meal... oh, and how about the Incredibles?? Girls like the other non-princess characters too!

...the house phone and the cell phone just to be sure you got that ADR!!! Yes, my DS's ages 6 and 4 have asked so many times for a "boy character restaurant!!" horray!! :cheer2:

Sounds like lots of fun. My boys DS, 5, and DS, 2, don't care too much yet, but since we go once or twice a year, at least, there are lots more times to come. Peter Pan would be great!

Any more info. on the possibility of a Peter Pan character meal?

If so, I sure hope it begins by the first week of January. Dd8 would simply flip to be able to attend a character meal with Peter and his crew.
