Peter Pan & 7DMT

7DMT line builds faster than PP. So you could do 7dmt then PP, but so will a ton of others.

PP has one of the best queues in all of WDW, so ideally if those two rides were my main goals I'd head straight to PP then have a FP for 7dmt

I would suggest SDMT first at rope drop and going straight to PPF right after. They both have similar ride times, but PPF will take some time for a major line to start forming due to its constant loading system. Also PPF has an interactive queue so that's also fun if you have to wait a little.

We have young kids so on one of or MK days we always do PP and Pooh at rope drop, and I get a FP+ for 7DMT for later in the day.

RD PP and FP+ 7DMT.
Neither are worth the long wait they can get so to me this is the best option.

We rode 7DMT once, when it first opened. We will not waste a FP+ or wait in line for it again until we have grand children. On the other hand, we love Peter Pan (nostalgic reasons). We FP the Pan every day we visit MK. (Note - we do not rope drop anymore, but when we did, PP was our first ride of the day)

I would get a FP for 7D and RD PP. We rope dropped 7D the first week of April and we still had about a 20 minute wait. By the time we got off 7D, the lines for the other Fantasyland attractions had already started to build. A couple of days later we RD'd PP and were then able to quickly then do Pooh and IASW with minimal waits before our FP for 7D opened.

what's the basic consensus on which to do at rope drop. peter or dwarfs first.
We always do 7DMT, then Peter Pan. You have to really race & know what you're doing to beat the crowds to 7DMT, though, so if you aren't up for that challenge/possible disappointment, be sure to FP 7DMT.

Peter Pan crowds take a little longer to build. Never had an issue going from the Mine Train to PP & still getting through the PP queue easily, but then again we've always been near the front of the Mine Train line. Agree that PP's queue is an important part of the ride & is therefore better done at rope drop rather than with a FP.

Interesting, I understand it's not that thrilling, but the themeing is magnificent. I couldn't have imagined a better addition to MK.

I don't wait in line either, but I drop a FP on it when I can.

It all feels plastic and fake to me.

We enjoy 7DMT enough that we use a FP or PPO breakfast on it everyday we are in MK. We have also had success getting on it with at closing with a 15-20ish min wait. My kids are 5 and 3 so it is a fun coaster for them. That being said, I usually also book a FP for PP. The first week of April I was actually able to get a 4th FP for it a couple different days by booking them for 2 of us and overlapping the times.
