Has anyone seen Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone at Epcot yet? What did you think? I'm looking forward to seeing them Sunday. :smooth:

I haven't seen them, but please let us know how it is on Sunday!! :):)

I saw him here at our local fair Sept 14, 2001.

It was a hard show for him and the band to do. Right after Sept 11. But, he and "the banned" as he calls them did a wonderful job.

I hope he behaves himself there at Epcot. He tells some off color jokes. Not the way I remember him when I was five and saw him at the Ohio State Fair.

Enjoy the show!

BTW, he stayed after the show to autograph tickets or cds for everyone!

and he always put on a very high engery show

Its always fun meeting him after the shows and he doesn't leave until everyone gets their autograph>

Last OCt whe we saw him in Manitowac WI he "yelled" at my DH cause when DH went to take the pic of me hugging him all he got was the back of my head!!!!

Peter said to him now come on lets take another one and do it right this time!!!! ( I didn't mind I got to take another pic with him!!! ITy was all in good fun.

I had taken a pic of him and me at another show I saw him at so he making cracks about how skinny he looked then (it was only the year before!!!)

all in all you'll really enjoy the show

It's the first time I heard about this - will he still be there in July and where in Epcot can you see him.

He is originally from the city where we live and my DH saw him years ago in a local club.

We caught his first show Friday. As others have said, high energy.got the audience involved. Entertaining show; had the usual "groupies" in the audience.....no off color references at all. the theater was standing room only. did a few short parodies that were entertaining---Johnny Cash, for instance. We consider all the "flower power" group as "must sees". For nostalgia if nothing else---and all of them that we've seen have been entertaining.:smooth:

No he won't. He's performing for 4 days only (May 23-26) as part of the Epcot Flower Power concert series which runs through June 8th.

The remaining concert are:
Herman's Hermits featuring Peter Noone - May 23-26
Dave Mason - May 27-29
Gary Puckett - May 30-31 and June 1
The Buckinghams - June 2-3
The Lovin' Spoonful - June 4-5
Arlo Guthrie - June 6-8

Oh !...........I have always adored Peter Noone. Saw him in Manchester, N.H. a couple of years back.

Even though I am now a 40-somethng,
I'm still in love....

Well, I'm back from seeing PN & HH and I enjoyed them very much. It brought back lots of memories. His first song was "I'm Into Something Good", wow, I still knew all the words!

Pigby, Try to come to Disney in May next year, check the Flower Power Concert Series schedule before you plan your trip, maybe you can time it for the PN & HH shows. He was here last year also, I'm sure he'll be back! He gets a huge turnout. Also, the May Flower & Garden Show each year is magnificent.
