Pete needs to go Fly a Fish already

First, you complained of too much coverage,

Then you complained that there wasn't enough coverage (we didn't discuss kids)

And now, there seems to be an issue with there not being enough females.

It seems you are enjoying complaining and then watching people react to your complaints.

This seems to be a pattern.

Moving forward, i think you should complain all you like.

I just won't get involved again.

If only you and John were there to note the oil slick on the chocolate dessert plate, the octopus coming to life on Craig's plate , or the jiggling panna cota, perhaps all these reviews would be more tolerable

How was Barbara Streisand by the way ?

I tried it last Fall at Epcot's Food & Wine Festival at the Brazilian Pavilion.
Crispy Pork Belly with Black Beans & Tomato.
Incredible! Tastes like bacon but extra-wonderful! Light, crisp & gorgeous!
I had the same concerns re mushy & fat but no worries. Think its the "belly" description that is off putting. If you can ignore that, you will love. :-)

I enjoyed the Flyjng Fish coverage. I watch the Podcast for information like this specifically. I also booked a 7 person reservation based on their reviews. Typically I don't feed the trolls, but just wanted to add my two cents here.

Just curious, what appetizer/meal did everyone seem the most interested in? I've never had it before, but the pork belly aka #meatbutter has me curious. The peanut butter drink is right up my alley too. Yum! :drinking1
The octopus actually has my curiosity for some reason. Craig seemed to really enjoy it

I had the octopus appie at Coral Reef last year. It was different. Probably grilled over a gas flame so unfortunately the octopus absorbed the taste of the nat gas. However, I love calamari and just had to try it. Maybe ask about how it is cooked to find out what's what?

This just proves that this person loves to antagonize people just for attention. Not worth anyone's time. I'm out.

Never had pork belly, but would be willing to try. And I must admit those that have said it's a "fear of texture" and "name" thing, are totally right. I also, like Pete, do not like seafood (except for shrimp cocktail and fried shrimp), but like Pete, I'd be willing to give it a try, and rethink, if needs be. :)

Is it appropriate to take a picture of the pork belly? I guess what I mean is, is it appropriate to request that your server pose for a picture WITH the pork belly? Like maybe they could hold the pork belly against THEIR belly, and you could be like "HEY LOOK IT'S TWO BELLIES!!!" and everyone could get a good laugh. You could do it with male or female servers, because hopefully the wait staff is divided up 50/50 between males and females. Anyway, just something to think about.

After reading a lot of dinning reports, I am now interested in the pork belly. Can't eat the octopus. Just creeps me out. The restaurant does look amazing. I am a sucker for all things food related!
