[Petals & Pixie Dust]

3DAYS UNTIL WE LEAVE

...and I'm already too excited to sleep!!!

My mom walked into work yesterday and her boss told her "you have more than enough time...why don't you take the rest of the week off?" Seriously? I work for 6 hours tomorrow...by boss is letting me come in early and leave early!

Off to get the to-do list done! Get packed and get ready to get out of here!!!

How exciting, isn't it amazing how time flies by as you get closer to the date I was totally stressed the last few days before we left, so my advice would be to take time to enjoy the moment and remember to have a good checklist We were up late the night before we left and several things were left behind, so I had to send family members to our house who were traveling down later to bring the items to us and in the end we still forgot a few things.

2 DAYS AND A WAKE UP!!!

If you scroll back thru this PJ you'll read the legal wedding...The entire day my mom would say "How ya doing?" my reply was always "I think I'm gonna puke." This went on until like a hour before the wedding and then all of a sudden I was fine...Well..yea...How am I doing? I think I'm gonna puke...my tummy is all in knots. I'm so in vacation mode (today is my last day of work and I chose to go in early and leave early...So, I'll be done at 2:30...Thank goodness!) and I'm way to excited to sleep...and the there is DH...Sleeping soundly b/c he has no problem controlling his excitement...However, he did write on his FB status "found a girl so nice I'm marrying her twice." Melted my heart!

Only a couple of sleepless nights to go, you can work on no sleep right?? You'll be fine, so long as you dont get massive bags under your eyes...

Oh I'll have massive bags under my eyes....trust me and I work with kids...so I have to be on my game! And let me tell you...they will tell you when you're not on your game.

Off to attempt to get a little rest...settle my belly...go to work and then TOTAL VACATION MODE!!!

Ok so...instead of your traditional Thanksgiving meal at home...we went to a local casino and ate at the buffet....Wasn't the same but got the job done!
After that we went back and packed my dress into a carry on Yup it fit...CA is going to have some work to do to get it steamed-but that is what I paid them for right???
On the down side...DH is coming down with a cold and I think he gave it to me. He saw his cousin and his son a week or so ago and the kid has a runny nose ...Great...We are currently on a strict regimen of vit c, vit d and zinc as well as coldeeze, gatorade, water, and when the mood strikes...chicken noodles soup!!! Warm weather should help...There are no fevers, no runny noses at our house...so it looks like we might be hitting this before it hits us.
DH said the cutest thing today...he said "This trip is going to be fun." When I pushed a little as to why it should be fun he said, "b/c all of our trips you plan are fun." I told him that I appreciated that b/c I do put a lot of work into our travel plans-let alone orchestrating a wedding on top of it. I really appreciated that comment. I think in someways I needed to hear it.
Packing everything else is just about complete. DH seems to be bringing more than I am...Strange... I feel like he over packs-but watch he will use every article of clothing he brings...not sure how he does that.
My dad is bringing a carry on for me of wedding stuff...kind of funny that a guy with no hair will be bringing along a roller brush and high heel shoes...and I think my wedding night outfit as well.. TSA has probably seen it all...but all wedding stuff will be carried on...No worries that it might get lost (except my bolero-which will just do better hanging in the checked garment bag....Oh well...couldn't get it all into the carry on...I tried.
Reservations have been checked....
Am I missing anything...
Oh..I have to copy our marriage lic and print out our GF Ressie...other than that I'm all set!
Check back tomorrow when I write about what a wreck I am!

it's making me realize that our time is coming up soon, seeing all these familiar names that are FINALLY HAVING THEIR BIG DAY!!!!

Very Excited!!! I wouldn't say nervous at this point...more focused...making sure everything gets to where it needs to be...all last minute things done...make sure not to forgets...DH said I was a whirlwind today...

Thanks...it will be wonderful!!! Amazing how long it took to get here...and *poof* now its here! I hope it goes as slowly as this week has!!! I plan on enjoying every minute and making sure to come back and report it!

Mine has been in the bag for about 1.5 years...with some occasional trying on...it definitely needs to be steamed...the train is a little squished!!! but yes ...almost there! 1 day and a wake up!
