Petals? or Bubbles at WP?

I just found this thread! I loved our petal toss - it was totally worth the cost just for the pictures. Also, to save money you can ask to have enough petals for a smaller number of people than are actually attending and they will just distribute them among the bags. (i.e., 50 bags with enough petals for 35 people, or whatever).

We did the bubbles for our wedding at the WP, and I totally loved them! I think they made my pictures just so magical! I ended up buying my bubbles at Wal-mart and wrapping "our colors" around the lid, then just flying them down. I saved so much money and they came out great! I gave them to my wedding planner during our rehersal and she made sure everyone had them at the right moment!

i had bubbles! it was so funny, randy kept yelling, "left side, we need more bubbles!!!!"

the only thing i didn't like about my bubbles were that you couldn't really see them in the pics because they were so small, but that could be good too (here's your support howard ) because the bubbles would have stained my dress!

I have visions of spills, sticky soapy hands of guests, etc. Why bother? Petals are the way to go... classy, elegant, Disney friendly, etc.

I think either would be pretty, but petals are a little more unique and add color...
my vote is for petals

I like bubbles...We have actually talked about giving bubble guns as our wedding favor. (hehehe)

I vote for both. I love the way the petals look in the pics, but I think both will look fantastic! I only have about 20 - 25 guests, so we will be few, so I'm thinking maybe petals would look great.

I'm late, but, I looove the look of petals, but bubbles are great and much cheaper!

We are doing petals! DF said no to bubbles, thought the kids would make a huge mess of themselves with them!
