People who tootle along in the passing lane at 10mph below the speed limit, totally oblivious to the line of cars backed up behind them.
People who get a big surprise when they come to pay at the checkout in the grocery store...they stand aimlessly whilst their bags are being packed, then when they are told the total, they have to start rooting around in their purse. Did you think your groceries would be free?

Not about the peeve, but about the "education as a weapon" and bullying parts. Isn't it, at least for the most part, the same education we ALL have? Why is it okay to correct - i.e. disagree - with anybody on pretty much anything, but not when it comes to absolute errors?

She lives with my 86-year old grandmother, who does pretty darn well, considering she's 90% blind. She'll be telling us all a story about one of her friends, or another family member: "I went to a lovely party the other day. Jane was there with her sister Dana", and my aunt will barge in with "NO Mom, her name was Deena". Really, we all know who my grandmother was talking about; just let her be!!!
