Alright, I know there is a veryy active thread about this right now, and I posted in it, but I thought I'd start a poll to see which of the most popular takes the cake!

Edit: For the record, I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE WDW, but thought this was an interesting topic, I am not at all trying to start a thread about all WDW's negative aspects, and am truly sorry to those who got that impression, that was not at all my intention.

I can't pick just one of the choices listed above. Although, if you had included Heelys, that would be my #1.

Where I used to work, whenever we would see kids on Heelys we would say "Here comes another poster child for the Bad Parenting Network."

Ugh I hate when people talk on their cell phones during rides! One guy kept asking me what the CM was saying during The Great Movie Ride, because he couldn't pay attention AND talk with his wife on his phone. Oh yeah, I should also mention it was one of those two way radio phones so it was extra loud. ::grrr:: After three questions, I gave him the shh look and he stopped asking me questions but kept talking on the phone. :headache:

The one I wanted to vote for isn't listed ... people who use their brightly lit video screens inside darkened theaters and attractions. I often end up sitting behind them, and it's very distracting and annoying.

Sooo hard to pick just one. Of course we're missing my personal favorite, which are the people who think "please move to the end of the row" somehow doesn't apply to them.

At least they're easy to deal with. One "accidentally" placed foot usually makes me a heck of a lot more cheerful about it! :rolleyes1

I picked people who cut in lines/at parades. As an adult who loves the parades I often have people trying to shove their little ones in front of me at the last minute. I don't mind scootching over, and if I am standing I will let your child stand in front of me. But ask me if I mind, don't assume it is ok. Thrusting your child in front of me and then running off is not only rude, but frightening. With the mob scene in the parks after the parades, how can you be sure you will find each other?

When people do that with their Nextsmell, you just walk over and say "would you like me to show you the button that transfers your radio to the earpiece so you can talk on the radio just like a phone?" The trick is to say it like there is something you are leaving off at the end like a "or would you like me to stick it somewhere that would get my post removed from the DIS boards."

I picked smoking in non designated areas.

Where's "People who expect others to give up a seat on the bus, despite the fact that we're ALL tired and all have one good reason or another why we "deserve" a seat" ?

1.- Parents hitting their kids. Of all places, at WDW no less.
2.- Adults (usually fathers) who complain and moan about going around in a kids world.
3.- All the jerks that don´t sit down in front of me in front of Cinderella´s Castle.
4.- I don´t mind Heelys, it´s the people with scooter rage that drive me nuts.

I voted for smoking- the others are just annoying, but an inconsiderate smoker can make people sick and really put a damper on their day in the park.

I really try to stay away from threads like this...but I will share this time.

My biggest is people who invade my personal space. I don't know why people have to ride on your back while waiting in line.

I was waiting for Astro Orbiter a few years back and this little boy kept hitting and poking my behind. (it is not that big, so there was no reason for that ;)) Anyway, I turned around to his mother and said "Excuse me, ma'am, will you please keep your son's finger out of my butt?" (I did use a different word, which is out of character for me :guilty:) He did not do it again. :)

3.- All the jerks that don´t sit down in front of me in front of Cinderella´s Castle.

Why would somebody need to sit down? This is concrete, not stadium seating. If it was meant that those watching the show should sit, Disney would have put seats there.

I voted for the parade problem. Hate sitting there for an hour waiting and 5 minutes before it starts someone tries to sit themselves and family in my space. Or watch them try to sit in a crosswalk, like the CM holding the rope there has been saving a place just for them.

I put my vote in for smokers smoking in non-designated areas. I am HIGHLY allergic to smoke and it can make me really ill all day long. I wouldn't call that a peeve necessarily though. :)

The other things I have no real problem with. I'm a WDW, I expect it.

I hate when people stop short.Especially since my mom uses a wheelchair:drive: so when they stop short she get's all mad.
It gets really annoying and also when people walk in front of her wheelchair..Just annoys the heck out me :furious:

lol

I voted for Nudity( I know I was arguing in the bus topic earlier) because I've noticed this trend lately both at WDW and at home. I don't know why the Hoochie Mama clothes are so popular-they make most women look like a 5 dollar $#%^%. Also, the guys with hairy backs and man-****ies walking around without a shirt have to go.:scared: There are plenty of nice looking clothes that keep you cool at the same time-keep your junk IN the trunk please!
