Pest control- cost?

Anybody ever call a pest control place to have a mouse removed? How much am I looking at?

We found a mouse living behind the fridge last week- despite the fact we have two cats in the house. We had d-con out for 5 days, as well as sticky traps. On Sunday we guessed he was dead and pulled the fridge out. He was FAR from dead. He got away from us, and now we arent sure where he. I'm guessing he is back behind there again. We cleaned up the mess, have not been leaving food out, etc. But, I really want him gone.

I have a totally irrational fear of mice. Its effecting my ability to sleep, cook (cant be in the kitchen!), etc. I dont even want to get close to the fridge to get my kids a snack or milk because "he" is near there.

So, what am I looking at to have this taken care of professionaly? I'm waiting for a couple quotes, but dont want to be shocked.

We paid like $300 to have our old house treated for a mouse infestation. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but generally where there is one mouse, there are many mice. Our cats couldn't keep up with the onslaught of mice. The exterminator took care of the problem. I must also add that many houses around us got infested at once, and we were the only homeowners to hire a professional exterminator. We were also the only homeowners to be rid of the problem. Our neighbors were still fighting with the mice years later because they refused to pay a professional. Gross! I don't know what they were thinking
