"Personally, I think I would make a great stripper!" 8/10 The End

Here is a pic of Treyner and some friends at his Athletic Banquet a few days ago. He has a tie for that shirt - I know cause I bought it!!

I have some from Baylor's track meet I need to upload...

Oh wow, Treyner and Carsyn have had a rough time of it lately. Hopefully it all gets better from here. On a happier note Carsyn's boyfriend is quite a cutie!

Terri

I bet she's used to it by now! She's probably saying, you just want to show these to your DIS buddies! My kids always want to know if I'm saying anything about them!

Great pics and update. I sent you a PM. I'm still working on my TR, but I've gotten behind on it. Glad to get caught up on yours!

Eiii yiii yiii!!! Poor Carsyn!! I hope she is on the mend soon
Love the pictures of the Biltmore and I will definitely be checking out their site when I get back from....oh Disney next week ;) Hopefully you will make it without incident before I get back!
Treynor's campus is beautiful....love all of the green and the buildings.....looks like a really nice school. :goodvibes

Poor Carsyn. I hope they diagnose her quickly - torn ligament most likely. But don't ask me which one cause I don't remember any of that stuff from nurse practitioner school. I just hope she feels better really soon.

Love the pictures of Treyner's school and his athletic friends!!!!! Taylor looks like a real sweetheart and I am so glad you enjoyed her company and got to know her during your trip.

Can't wait to hear about your evening at that Olive Garden.

Wow, that looks like such a nice school!! Thanks for sharing those pics with us.

Hope Carsyn gets better soon!

Short message, not much time.
Beautiful pics.
Ace update.
Poor Carsyn but am sure Ben will be looking after her, he looks a keeper.
Hope Treyner's feeling better.
Short message? Oops. :lmao:
Sister still ill. Blood tests came back but they couldn't find anything.
Been 3 weeks now.

(ace is a good thing, I remember you asking in an other post)

Morning all.

Treyner and Dan are about 2 hours from home. Left Atlanta at 4 p.m. yesterday. Drove straight through minus a huge detour in Tennessee due to the freeway closing and flooding. They found a nice man who was heading the same way and was local and knew how to get them around the detour through higher roads.

The hotels along the interstate were packed I guess.

Sold about $400 in the garage sale. Good considering I have things marked to go. Name brand or not - t-shirts for $1, jeans for $3, TV's $2, stereo speakers .50 cents!

I just want all this crud gone! Combining 2 houses and all the random stuff really makes you know how much a person can waste that is nit needed.

Did not advertise just went with local traffic. Treyner is bringing a bunch of clothes he does not want and other things he now is realizing he does not need. Carsyn is de-cluttering her teenage girl hoarder status and Dan and I found more stuff we do not want either.

So next weekend, we will have one more sale - then donate the rest. I want to move in 5 years to the south so might as well start downsizing now. Saves me from deciding that later. In fact, when Dan and I are out on the town, we say, do we want this in 5 years? If no, the money we would have spent goes to our savings or to the vacation fund.

Ya know what is hard? Deciding what VHS movies to keep. We have so many Disney movies and the thought of ditching them makes me sick but I know that they are not long for the world.

Can I get VHS tapes made to DVD? Is it worth it? Maybe costs too much.

Anyway - the rest of the day will be spent with Treyner, thinking of getting my Dad and having him here for supper. I already have a huge brunch prepared for this morning and then Baylor has soccer scrimmage tonight so busy day.

Tomorrow - I am determined to start a routine that involves the YMCA in the morning and then 2 hours of writing time. Treyner wants to run to the Y in the morning, then work out. It is 4 miles total there and back. Maybe in a month after water aerobics and getting my stamina back up, I can work towards joining in that!

You shall get 1-2 chapters tom to read! :woohoo:

I know what you mean about the vhs, we are now even buying blurays of dvds that we already have, they have a great system going don't they? You can take them to walgreens of costco and it's 20 bucks a pop and then I don't even know if they will do copywrited stuff or if that is just home movies. You can also buy a converter, which my brother is looking into because of all our old family movies on vhs and they are 100 plus. So probably not even worth your time. You had a nice day for the garage sale, minus the wind. You sound so busy all the time! Maybe we should do a dis meet/bbq this summer? Looks like you have lots of MN peeps following your TR. Good luck at the Y, we are also starting our post Disney diet tomorrow around here.

Glad they are almost home. I know you will be happy to have your three under the same roof. Enjoy those kiddos :goodvibes

Glad to hear they're almost home. I know it will be great to have all your kids with you.

I tried taking a vhs movie (one I had bought, not a home movie) to Walgreen's to have it converted to dvd but they wouldn't do it. They are so inexpensive now I just buy dvd copies of my favorite Disney movies whenever they are available. That being said I kept my vhs copies too, why I'm not sure, :confused3, makes no sense, but then I often don't!

Terri

So what is the cookbook series? I am such a cookbook *****, I can't even begin to explain it!!

Also, I saw you mention going to the YMCA...from your pics I am guessing we are about he same size...I have been going to the Y since mid-January and have lost 23 pounds. The exercise makes ALL the difference. I really should join over at the WISH board...I am needing some new motivation! You go, girl!

Caught up. :thumbsup2

The Biltmore Mansion is amazing---Can you imagine living in such a place?

Glad Taylor is a nice girl, and that you all enjoyed being together. :)

Poor Carsyn! I had knee surgery last July - tore my ACL & miniscus trying to do a head kick in Hapkido class! I'm a short, chubby 33 year old - should've known better. Hope Carsyn's is not that bad!

Hey! I forgot to tell you when you were down here, but my friend's mom works @ the Biltmore Estate and my cousin has season passes. I can always pick up stuff for you if you need me to! Let me know!

LOL, you are a crack up!! I'm in!!

We drove from Kansas to WDW last October... oh wow, never again!

just found this TR, love it so far, you're hilarious, such an entertaining writer! Sounds like your family has a great (sick) sense of humor just like my family. My 13 year old son's current favorite phrase is "that's what she said"

I was drooling at your pics of nutteroos, trying hard to stick to my diet and not make a batch of those bad boys, they looked soooo ridiculously gooood. I should be making my way over to the wish board in a minute.

Enjoy your time with Treyner!!
