Are you referring to a brick that you already had in place from 1997 or to one that you are purchasing right now?

Ok. I am super excited about this. The $300 is a little high, but just think what the price will be in 2015!

I have Not read every post, so forgive me if this has already been mentioned. Does anyone feel uncomfortable about the fact that you are faxing your credit card number? As a general rule, I don't do this. Anyone with access to the brick files can come in, make a few copies and go home and purchase many things on others accounts. This might be the thing that stops me. I wish I could purchase over the internet, so my number comes out as **** **** **** 1234 on the other end.

OK, everybody. You can now breathe a sigh of relief. I received my certificate(s) today showing the layout of my brick along with the placement number and a map showing me where I can find it.

However, It is NOT being placed where I was originally told it would be (on the walkway near the Poly and GF) but near the exit of MK. I am slightly disappointed by this as it was the CM I originally spoke with who actually suggested placing it near the GF Wedding Pavilion as I was purchasing an anniversary brick.

I am VERY happy that I finally have a brick and that I was not taken for a ride.

Wow! When did you actually order it? When you say by the exit of the MK, can you describe the area?

May 25th. Apparently it will be placed on the exit walkway that takes you to the Contemporary. It's somewhat near the MK bus stop (UGH!), but at least it's not on a direct path to it. The map I received with my certificate(s) is just of the MK, not the entire Walk Around the World.

Wooohooo!!!! They charged my card on 5/29 so I guess I must own a brick too! Can't wait to get papers and see where they put us. Sure hope it's in the Mk area somehwere...

Just a heads up.........I talked to the place where the charge went through (I don't want to name where I called so the nice people won't be bothered). She said they were selling a few bricks, but the response was so overwhelming that it is now closed again. She said if your cc was charged, then congratulations, you got one, since she didn't think your cc would be chagred if you weren't getting one.

There wasn't 20,000 available, but it was a legit offer. She was going to give the people in the office we were calling my email so they can send me something via my email. I'll post if I get something snail mail or email.

Tiggs - or anyone else that has a brick certificate, old or new, do you have the means to scan or upload a picture of your certificate? You can black out names or whatever, I'd just love to make something to give DH assuming it won't come in time. Thanks in advance!

Whew! I was a little verklempt over the weekend when I couldn't find a charge on my card's account and didn't have an opportunity to speak to someone in person. After sending a second email early this morning, checked the cc account online again about midmorning and there was the charge! Yippee!!! What a great surprise this will be when we're at the World in December. We have two bricks in the forecourt of DLR, but this one will be a surprise for my partner - if I can keep the secret until then!

I am so disappointed in this whole process. They are not returning calls or responding to emails. Poor business if you ask me. I made the mistake of mailing instead of faxing the forms. I did this last week. No chages to my CC and can't get hold of anyone to see where the form with my CC info is. No brick for me. Obviously, the Walk Around The World Office is no longer taking calls, but who can I call to voice my concerns with? Didn't they keep a count of how many forms they sent out? Legit or not, the least they can do is have the common coutesy of responding.

That's a great question. It's all speculation at this point. Has anyone been successful in contacting them over the weekend and today?
