Personal Quest Issue

I have had trouble with people who say they didn't get a prize when they complete my quest. I wish there was a way for us to see more than the top 5 players so that we could verify that they indeed did finish and show them!

I had 3 players at once screaming at me for their prizes. If this continues, I may have to shut down the machine and put it away so I can moniter things more closely. I thought it would make my life a little easier but it's been a bit aggravating.

I have to say, that is a whole new twist I had not thought of for reasons to not operate a quest. Is this becoming a common problem for others?

well im a bit confused, what is your game? and if you know they got their prize, you would know u traded with them right? bc that is how u give ppl prizes unless im missing something. LOL

No - the quest machine gives the prizes automatically when they finish the quest/maze. I am sure that it is because no friends have had problems with it. I think it may be a way to scam me out of giving double prizes.

Of course it may be just another of the game bugs. Like the one where you trade or give someone something, and it disappears from your inventory, but doesn't show up in their's for some time afterwards. Had that happen occasionally.

I would not give another prize for several reasons after considering this...Here is some thougts, The quest machine awards prizes however it is set up, don't ask me how but there is an option, or several where everyone doesn't get a prize. you may run out of prizes it may be timed or prizes may go to the best times only, there may be a few more. I still have to mess with that darn machine more, but somewhere, I would post all prizes are awarded only through the machine and none will be given out in any other fashion. (a sign saying you must be this tall to ride would be good too.)

I think it is possible for the game to have a bug that doesn't award a prize but the staff quest did not tell me for an hour that the no prize was given because I did not place, another staff quest the Host refused to let me start claiming I would not be able to finish in time. (unlike other staff events where you participate till close) Then there is the Scam possibility, and the possibility of being reported for charging or scamming if you attempt to open trades at the quest.

Running games, quests, rides, traderooms or whatever you run a higher risk of many players reporting you for no reason. I say politely explain prizes are only awarded through the machine annd if they persist ask them to please leave or they will be booted - then boot because of course they will continue.

Dealing with these issues are primearily why I don't bother with these things, that and ussually I can rack up 10-15 K a day but will get nothing for standing around.

I find this growing cancer of VMK more annoying than "taken" or "poor plz plz". It happens maybe once or twice every half hour, someone saying something usually along the lines of, "owner i win where prize?". I normally give an auto response on how the engines' prize giving is automatic. Most of the time though, after clicking the clueless, you'll see they're only wearing the NPC pins or none at all, which inclines to have me think somebody has no idea how the VMK created quests are run, and honestly, I really don't have the patience to explain to someone every half hour on how they work. Nine times out of ten, after a huge elaborate explanation from me, I normally still get the response of, "yea but where prize?".

So basically, if I can offer any advice to a quester, make sure you're well aware of the prize options that each quest engine contains! You maybe eye ball'n a wanted poster in winner place eight, but you may have won something like space shoes, or a pin collection from being in a winner in a different winning placing. Know what you're playing for.

i have a question about the quest machine...
if you make a quest and it has been used by millions, and you want to make another quest, do you have to buy another one or is there some way to delete the quest? i have no clue bc i don't have enough credits to buy one yet and am just thinking ahead

I had a girl come back in my room after she finished the quest and say she did not get her prize. I asked her if she was sure because she might have received a poster as a prize. She rechecked her inventory and saw that the poster was there and then she appologized to me.

One thing that did upset me was when people were saying "not fair" when they could not complete the quest. My quest requires the use of space magic. It is clearly stated in my room description, and also in the quest information. This is a Flying quest, so you have to fly in space for part of it...lol The quest is titled "Fly around Dis everst quest"

Someone want to tell me why I spent 20,000 hard earned credits for this thing just so I can give stuff away????????????
