Maybe we're weird, but we don't care for thin crust flatbread pizza. Is there anywhere that still serves the old single serve pan pizza? Like what used to be at Pinnochios Village Haus?? I've been going through allears but I can't seem to find any!

Pizza Planet is closed.

I don't believe you can find the old style anywhere.

Well phooey!!! What a bummer. Are we the only people who like a thick crust? I feel like the flat breads are pizza toppings on a cracker. Just not the consistency we like. :headache:

The pizza at Pizzafari in AK might be what you're looking for. We haven't been there in awhile but it used to be like what you're describing.... Also the pizza at the Pizza Window on the Boardwalk has a traditional style pizza (whole or by the slice). Then there's the pizzas at Via Napoli in Epcot. Those are traditional wood oven fired crusts not flatbread.

Pizza changed a little in January when we went, but it is close and definitely not thin crust.

DD had a personal pizza last week at the Art of Animation food court, and it was definitely NOT thin crust! It looked delicious! They had adult sizes, too.

I think all Disney Pizza is the same, except where they specifically say its flatbread not pizza (of course Via Napoli is the exception). So if you go to a resort food court and they offer pizza it always seemed the same as the pizza at Pizza Planet, Catalina Eddies and Pizzafari. None of the pizza is true deep pan I think, its just a regular crust in a similar style to Dominos.

This has been my experience as well. We aren't flatbread fans either, but found the "thick" kind at Pizzafari. At POR's food court, we got a whole pizza that was the same kind. Only exception I've found to this at Pepper Market at CSR - we ordered a whole pizza there and expected it to be the same as POR, but it was very different. Thinner crust and just wasn't good. After, it dawned on me that Pepper Market is operated by a third party so it makes sense why their pizza would be different than Disney pizza elsewhere in WDW.
