Personal Disney Shopper- avoid resort fees?

I'm just trying to clarify this before we make our final decision on what to do. We always ship down water from Costco, but this time we are staying at Beach Club for the first time, and I wasn't aware it was a convention resort, so that puts a damper on my water plans. So I contacted a personal disney shopper and her rates are very reasonable (hardly any more than shipping the water myself), but to clarify (based on my understanding from what I've read here)- her bringing the water and leaving it at the front for us will NOT incur the same concierge fees as a UPS delivery of water, is that correct??

Thanks!!

How much water are you planning to buy? Disney stores are now selling Dasani cases for $6.29 which isn't great but better than $2.50 a bottle. Or the Hess Station right near you and the Boardwalk sells Water Cases for a little less. I don't think you would incur a fee if a "Friend" was dropping something off for you, as a shopper would be.

We are needing purified water, which I don't think Dasani is? But we are getting 6 cases of 24 bottles. How many bottles in the Dasani cases? While I had considered walking to the Hess station, making several trips to lug all that water didn't really appeal to me.

Dasani's purified.

So Disney sells a 24 pack of Dasani water for less than I can get the Kirlkand brand, shipped? I am not sure about that...

But does anyone know about the fee? If we order water through her we may as well get some extra groceries so I'm curious if it incurs the additional fee or if that is exclusively for UPS/FedEx deliveries (as it appears USPS is not one they charge for?).

We had a case of water and orange juice from Staples (free shipping for rewards members) shipped to the Beach Club. The two cases were delivered to the convention center (between BC & YC). My husband & I went over to pickup and there is a $5.00 handling charge (per piece).
That fee also included delivery to our room - since we were there, we just took the cases ourselves. We were going to be in and out of the room alot and if you are having delivered to your room, you have to be available to receive. They will not bring into the room if no one is in. (Staying on DVC points)
This was our experience in August.

I had groceries delivered by a grocery delivery service to Contemporary, which is another convention resort, and incurred no fees :)

Do you know how many water bottles were in the case? The weight I figured on the 24 case put us into the $10 fee range, and that would be $60 in fees which is crazy expensive!! Yikes!

We stayed at the Yacht Club this summer and ordered from Garden Grocer. We incurred no fees for this service by the resort. I just tipped Bell Services as they were the ones to deliver the items to our room. This might be the less complicated method.

Okay new development, it looks like we may go with Garden Grocer and order a lot more than just water, and from what I see it looks like there are no concierge fees (and thanks for your experience queenofthehive!). So hopefully that is the way to go!

past 5 trips, ordered from them, we either paid no fee or a $2 fee, because we ordered a lot, but seriously even if you only order 1 case of water, small fee is still worth it to us and it gets delivered to your room by bell services. We do not drink Florida water and we also order several gallons of water to use in the room, not sure if this would work for you.

Nestle water- 8oz. - 24/case
Minute Maid Orange Juice - 10 oz. - 24/case

Staples rewards members get free shipping - it's free to sign up.
Only took two days from ordering to being delivered to the hotel.
We will use Staples for this service again.

Garden Grocer also delivers beer and wine - just not listed on the website.
