I find it amazing that a person who thought Africa was a country, and did not know the countries in North America was so close to the second most important job in the world.

It was also revealed today that Palin spent an extra $30,000 on a campaign credit card on additional clothing.\

FWIW, though, while I heard that Palin didn't know that Africa was a continent I never heard it as a direct quote. I'd love to have a link. Otherwise, I'll give it as much credence as gmboy95 not knowing how to spell "know." Sometimes we have brain slips. Unfortunately, Palin doesn't have an Edit button.

Also FWIW, I did vote for McCain but Palin's lack of experience concerned me greatly. What do we have to do to get Condoleezza Rice to run for president?

I'm so glad someone else said it; I've been stewing over the ridiculous childishness that's been bandied about on the board since the election and frankly, just don't see what the damn point is. Obama won. Congrats to him. I hope he turns out to be a wonderful President; I'd be thrilled to bits to eat crow on that one. But in the meantime, is there seriously a need to (figuratively) put your thumbs in your ears, waggle your fingers, and "Neener neener neener!" at those of us who did not vote for him?

Obama is a columbia grad and a Harvard law school grad, and the president of the harvard law review. As well as a constitutional scholar at the university of chicago.....I think I will go with him against the five schools one degree governor!!
