A new notice of commencement showed up today for the general area where the "Canal Modifications" are proposed to be done. This is in the Energy/Life Pavilion area with an address of 1350 Avenue of the Stars. No explicit expiration; Barton Malow is the contractor for "clearing/grubbing, grading, and site capture." SWPPP likely references Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans.

This is the first reference to "Project S" that I've seen.

Yeah, that was in my description. The notices for Star Wars Land (aka Star Wars Experience) are all listed as Project D (code name Project Delos). The gondola project is known as ITJ (ITalian Job).

Haven't heard anything about this project code name though.

I think Project S is the abbreviated version of Project Space, as in Guardians of the Galaxy.

That would be pretty cool. There are a lot of ways that could fit into the mission of Epcot. Therefore, I am convinced that won't happen

I'd sure love a Big Hero 6 ride! IMO it fits Epcot's theme a lot better than Guardians (for example)

Project Sip, Snack, and Stroll ... will be a state of the art Festivals center for supporting the food, wine, flower, and art festival which will be year round

And by "state of the art" I mean they figured out how to also have food booths actually inside the festival center

I'd take anything, all that Ellen's ride is good for is a long rest on moving bench. Tumbleweeds are blowing through this section. Most people, just skip it during their family vacations.

On Jim Hill's new podcast they are calling it "The Spine". I have no clue what it means, but I'm going to search Google and overanalyze it at least until D23.

Although, that means we are stuck with Spaceship Earth for naps once Ellen's closes The line at Spaceship Earth isn't great for a quick nap when it's really long.
