"perks" for taking the DVC tour?

Hi ... friends are interested in SSR and would like to take the tour ... do they get any "freebies" just for listening to the spiel ... i've heard/read rumors of fastpasses or lunch vouchers ...

anybody know for a fact?

We got some nice gourmet cookies and a couple of cans of diet coke. But nothing else.

Becuase we were there so late and our little ones hadn't had dinner they gave us 4 free meal vouchers to use at SSR. So we sent my parents and the kids up to eat. We did have to ask for them though.

We took the tour about a year and a half ago and received a lunch voucher for Beaches and Cream.

When we took the tour a year and a half ago, we got 2 fast passes for each person in our party (even those that weren't with us on the tour which included my Mom and Dad who were watching our two boys). The fast passes were great because when you put them in the fast pass machine, the ticket said the return time was from that moment to anytime within the next hour. So essentially we could use them right away without having to come back to the attraction later. It was a great benefit. We got cookies and soda too! Your friends could always ask before they signed up for the tour. We went on the tour before the parks even opened so it didn't affect our visits to the parks much that day.

i went last week and was given one counter service meal voucher that could be used at a lot of places at WDW. i was told you get one per person who attended the presentation. and you get free ice cream at the end, and snacks during the presentation (coffee, donuts, juice, etc).
