Perfect Time?

If you get there before opening, though, you beat a lot of the crowds. By 10 a.m., though, it is pretty packed.

If you're looking to avoid crowds, DON'T go on the 17th! That's Dlands birthday and while it's really fun and special to be there that day, it's also VERY crowded.

I was going to say this too. The first two hours are the least crowded that it's going to get. Late late at night (11PM-12AM) is also not too bad either.

This is shyboy72's fiance, and though it is fun to go to Disneyland in the summer,
I like to go just before they take down the Christmas Decorations early in
January. So if you're looking to visit Disneyland when it is less crowded, that
is a great time to go.

For now, when we go in the summer we head back to the hotel just after lunch
and try to get back around dinner time when families are heading out to eat.
It seems to work out fine for us. Either that, or head to California Adventure
when it gets busy at DL. Maybe this will work for you!

I would also avoid July 4th.

We went on July 17th last year and it was not that bad at all!!! Got on all the rides and had a great time to boot!!!

Going on 4th of July this year just to say we went..
