I'm hoping that with Carsland being such an obvious success that TDA uses it as an opportunity to revamp Tomorrowland. I know it would be painful for them to close the land down completely to do a complete overhaul, but it is pretty necessary at this point. There are massive pieces of real estate in this land that could be torn down to free up some large plots of land for updated, better attractions.
While Winnie the Pooh may not be such a popular ride, it has some obvious technological advantages over the older rides in Fantasyland. Look at all the new animatronics in RSR. This is basically a dark ride with thrill elements making up the final portion. Imagine if some of the technology from these 2 rides were to be utilized in a new Tomorrowland...
Tomorrowland is a shell of it's former self. There aren't enough rides in the land to justify how much space it takes up in the park. Space Mountain and Star Tours draw all the crowds. Leave those rides alone (and open) while gutting Innoventions, the Captain EO Theater, and Starcade. I might even suggest they bring back Adventures thru Inner Space with updated effects. That would be such a cool ride with today's technology!
It's my feeling that they haven't taken out the People Mover track simply because it can't be removed. The concrete structure is just too thick and has cured for so long that it may be as difficult to remove as the foundation for the Home of the Future. If that's the case then I think they should rebuild People Mover with updated scenery. All of the infrastructure is there. I don't understand why the track hasn't been used in so long.
Anyway, I don't expect any of this to happen. I just know that I'm not the only one wishing for them to update Tomorrowland.
