Some of the things that Amazon has put up as lightening deals....well, I'm amazed that they have sold out so fast!!! A $4000 chandelier? And, it wasn't even that pretty! Oh well....maybe it's just me but does anyone else notice this???

True...But ppl will buy anything for sale. I joke that I am going to open up a store called "Going Out of Business" because ppl will buy things for 3 times their actual price just because they think its a "deal".

I hit Buy within 2 seconds of the Kindle the otherday and did not even make the wait list. You're right some of that stuff goes crazy fast. I was lucky to grab BTTF this morning though!

LOL!! I added myself to the waitlist for that $5k Chandelier just to see if my waitlist button was working. It did not work for me much at all. The chances of my getting the deal were poor, but miraculously, my waitlist came thru for the $5K chandelier. I did not bother putting it in my cart!

Laptops otoh, my button would not work at all@!!

I put the Barbie Junior Laptop in my cart. It was $14.99. Then I hopped over to Toys R Us. Regular price is $19.99. So plus shipping from Amazon I was saving nothing. I emptied my cart.

Had I found other things I wanted I could have rec'd free shipping and that would have been worthwhile but there wasn't anything else I wanted.

I wish I would have seen that chandelier. I don't have anything in my house worth 5K.

Yup...Back to the Future blu-ray. Supposed to come with the ride on it! I miss it so much, was my fav thing at US.

That wasn't the only thing people were snapping up for ungodly sums. And I want to know what women are buying the crap jewerly they put up for sale? I mean come on! My Grandma wouldn't wear that stuff and it all sold out in seconds. Crazy.

I managed to get one item last week that was the car charger for $75 bucks regular priced $200. It has an air compressor, charger and jumper cables.

There was quite a few things "on sale" that could be bought at local stores for the same price or less. Yet, people snapped them up without a hitch.
