Why oh why must people wear clothes 3 sizes too small? My friend's husband who overweight... has serious plumbers crack going on. His shirts never cover his extended belly. It just weebs me out.
They have the $ to buy clothes that fit and yet he refuses. Almost like he likes people seeing him dress so icky.... I refuse to go out in public with them.

Then ya got the ladies who wear shorty shirts (are those coming back in?)... this gal had a monster roll going on... the shirt barely covered her chest. Pants looked like they were going to split. It was not sexy or becoming in any way.... The final straw was her pants were those low cuts... Lovely to see the shade of her granny panties.
This wasn't even a teenager, she had to be close to my age (mid-30's).Just tacky tacky tacky. I would never EVER go in public with clothes a size or more too small. The sad thing is I see it a lot
I know I am not a size 6. I'd rather be a size too big then a size too small. Are people really fooling themselves... dressing too small? Do they think they look even remotely attractive?

Just a pondering thought....

The only thing I can say is that I admire their confidence and self esteem.

Well, I was trying to be nice. lol

My DH and I were going to the DMV office. As he was looking for a parking spot, I noticed this heavy set man bent over trying to put the sticker they issue on his license plate. All I saw was half of a gigantic butt sticking out.. I started laughing so loud it took a minute for my husband to realize why I was laughing so hard. :hyper:

Don't these men realize when their pants are falling down?

At least this he should have bothered to sun himself before the display. It was a sickly white shade. I smiled for the rest of the day.

hehehee after so many displays from this "friend" there just is no way to be nice... if he couldn't afford new clothes, that would be one thing...
Serena Well, I was trying to be nice. lol

How can they not, there has got to be an amazing breeze going on  at least in my friends case...

::yes::

Whenever I see something like that I get this funny image of putting a garden hose down the back. Cold water on full force. :teeth:

Ugh...I hate it when girls do this. I see teenage and young adult women all the time wearing these low-rider jeans that are obviously not meant to fit on their forms because of the roll of flab hanging over the top. Yuck!

Thank you for reminding me. Now my husband is going to wonder why I'm smiling so much. :teeth:

That was this lady I saw who was my age... I think people who are heavy set but dress nicely... thats one thing. This gal was letting it ALL hang out is plain wrong.

I can kinda see the teenagers doing it... not that it's right persay... but trying to fit in... but adults should seriously know better... that it is very unbecoming and unflattering.

Maybe that man likes the style that is in--low riders and belly shirts! :teeth:

Yep, it is pretty gross. My dad sarted putting on some weight a few years ago and still insisted he wore a medium teeshirt.  One day he had a shirt that buttoned up and I told him that he looked like a sausage in that shirt. I thought he might "pop" a button! :crazy2:

Bren, my dad does that. He's got a serious beer belly and oh boy!

i totally agree!! It's soooo not flattering for people to wear clothes that are like 5 sizes too small!! if they would just wear their correct size, they would look fine!

Why do men not want to admit they've gained a bit of weight over the years? It took me forever to get my husband to admit he is not a medium anymore (he could fit into a medium but he'd be on the verge of looking like my friends husband  ) *chuckle* I'd buy him Large, he didn't know or pay attention for like a year... and then when I tried to tell him he got mad at me LOL. He's finally admitting it now :D

If they started making more 'cute' clothes in larger sizes, people(esp women!) might be tempted to wear the right size. But as long as designers continue to crank out styles that only look good on skinny chicks, this ain't gonna happen. Us larger gals (well some of us anyway)a re going to try to squeeze our oversized butts into the cute clothes even if they don't fit because the clothes are cute. Have you ever SEEN some of the plus sized clothes? They are HIDEOUS! No wonder nobody wants to wear them!

It depends on where you shop. Ashley Stewart, Lane Bryant and the Avenue are a few of the stores I shop in. They have the same styles that are found in other stores. However they are for size 14 and up.

My mother used to say.........Just because you CAN wear it, doesn't mean you SHOULD. ::yes::

Are these the same folks who wear sandals that are too short and their toes hang over?

:scratchin

They are probably the same people that wear bikinis...and go around braless even though they are hanging to thier knees!
