Ok, I've seen past vacations' videos/pics. Been to the website to renew my AP's. Checked out what I'm thankfully missing right now (Buzz Lightyear is out for refubishment). Brewed some coffee purchased at Epcot (poured it in my All Star Music refill mug). What should I do next for my withdrawal (aside from planning the next trip)?

:confused3 :confused3

one time when i was jonesing for a ::MickeyMo fix, i made an excel spreadsheet of all the WDW resorts i'd been to (and with whom), all the WDW restaurants i've been to (and what i ate there), and which resorts and restaurants i haven't visited yet (with the ones i really want to go to highlighted in bold) :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

I got my fix by drinking the "holiday" coffee blend I bought at MGM and listened to Holiday WIshes. Now that the holidays are over and the coffee is gone I don't know what I'm going to do!

well if the coffee is gone it is time to go back and refill...i mean come on...one can only go so long without their coffee...

I've made myself my own Disney fix. I made a cd called Disney World Virtual Vacation.

I started with a recording of the monorail announcements and toured through Main Street (area music) through Tomorrowland (Space Mountain entrance and exit music, Buzz music, COP music) on to Fantasyland (Castle medley, Winnie The Pooh, Small World) to the Haunted Mansion, down Frontierland (area music) onto Splash and Thunder Mountain, over to POTC and Tiki Birds. Then Spectromagic, Main Street Electrical Light Parade (I had to include this it was my favorite growing up!) and I finish it off with a Wishes medley complete with Jiminy Cricket! Then I have EPCOT area music, Spaceship Earth, Horizons (I loved this one too!) Imagination... you get the idea.

It really makes me smile and it's the next best thing to being there! I feel refreshed after listening to it! :wizard: That's how I get a touch of Pixie Dust in Georgia. :goodvibes

I play on these boards (TOO darn much lately!), am planning my trip that isn't until sometime in 2007, shop on ebay for Disney stuff. listen to radio Disney (b/c my son likes it, hee hee), watch House of Mouse and Disney movies (once again, for the boy), and talk to my sister and friend who are Disney freaks like myself. I also visit sites like allears and look at pictures, read menus, you get the idea. ;)

Oh yes, and get on Disney's site, because they turn your cursor into a wand that makes pixie dust. :wizard:

Oh Lawdy--I feel your pain! We went to WDW back in June, and did a Christmas surprise trip to Disneyland in December, and now...NOTHING. Not a darn Disney trip even in the thought-processes (though there has been some speculation of a Disney Cruise in '08...)
I am lost and forlorn... Is there any purpose to my life? Can I find any meaning? :( :sad1:

I am making a scrapbook to remember our trip to Disney....but we have an entire room that is Disney....so we feel like we are there in some form daily!!!

If you have some $ to burn, you could do what I did and send yourself the cutest Mickey vase and flowers. It's on the Hallmark.com website, just search mickey and you'll find it. Yellow roses, purple statis and some red flowers that are arranged in a kind of glass cone that a painted resin 10 inch
tall Mickey is holding up...to give to you! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo
It's Just Too Cute!

That sounds AWESOME!!

Oh how I love Holiday Wishes.

I buy stuff on disneyshopping.com (only the stuff on sale, I tell my husband!) Shop on ebay. I am on the DIS boards constantly, mousesavers, allears, mouseplanet. Made a scrapbook of our last trip. Watch all the Travel Channel shows I tivo'd. Oh, and two weeks after our last trip, which was in mid-December, I announced to my husband what I wanted for my birthday - a trip to Disney!!! So, yes, I am already planning our trip back in Sept. '06 and quite frankly, until we move down there (oh, I already have the place in Celebration picked out) in about 8 years, I'm afraid it will have to be WDW trips every 6 - 9 months at the very least or I may :scared1: My husband puts up with me, I'm a very lucky woman!

I am considering a second trip to see a different Disney on Ice show in less than 6 mos. The rationalization? Well, the other one was a Princess show for DD, this show is the Incredibles one for DS. The sad part is the 3 of us are such Disney addicts, we don't really CARE what Disney on Ice show it is, but it's just a little taste of Disney. We even went to a parade in Chicago for the Festival of Lights before Christmas in the hopes of seeing the Disney stage show. We took a 1 1/2 hr train ride (each way) with my cousin and her family (which includes a 2 1/2 yr old who spits on and kicks his parents), walked 2 miles (each way), stood behind news vans on a street in Chicago for over an hour, propped our kids up so they could see 10 floats go by in the parade (5-6 of which were Disney). We never made it through the crowd to see the Disney stage show. As much as we love Disney, it wasn't Disney enough to endure it again.
Yes we miss Disney too!

We went for 2 weeks in May last year. It was great.

My 5DD and I can't wait to go back. My wife says we'll go in May of 2007.

She wants to visit her brother in L.A. this Spring so I'm going to work a trip to Disney Land in the deal.

Our family went to WDW one year ago last January. My spouse and I have been to WDW many years ago, but this was our 6 year old daughter's first vacation.

All this past week I have fondly remembered in detail what we were doing on the very same day last year. What I affectionately recall the most are all the little things that I shared with my child during that enchanting trip. Sharing in her excitement and wonder somehow became more meaningful and endearing as our vacation gradually became a memory.

I tell you, I was absolutely enlightened by the magic of it all, and I genuinely discovered through this vacation and through my daughter how truly happy it felt to be a carefree child once again, at least for a little while.

Those captivating memories made me desparately long for the magic of Disney this week. And so I've looked at our vacation photos, played Disney theme park music, watched Disney vacation planning videos and reminisced on Disboards.

I also came to realize that our experience together was so special and precious, that a second trip to WDW only one year later will never be as magical as the first. Until we visit again one day, I have some wonderful stories to share...

I am so sad that we can't go until August of 2007. But at least I know when we are going so we can plan some.

I also like to go to the Disney site and listen to the music. The wand with the pixie dust makes me smile.

I hate being depressed about not going for so long. Seems kind of silly. But I do go through our pictures on a regular basis. I love to relive those memories.

And I have taped all the shows from the travel channel. My daughter and I will watch them occasionally during the day.

Oh, shows from the travel channel? I haven't seen these, are they still airing do you think? About WDW specifically? Thanks for any info you can give!

I feel your pain. We went in November, and I'm already ready to go back.

I think I have taped 3. They were probably on the Travel Channel 4 or 5 weeks ago. One is about them building Magic Kingdom. One is about Animal Kingdom. The Travel Channel has these on occasionally. I have probably seen them 5 or 6 times before I taped them. I would just look at the the guide for the week to see when and if it is being played. You will see it eventually.
