People are disgusting (WARNING this is gross)

Today, at my office, for the 3rd time this year, someone has ahem...left a 'gift' on the floor next to the toilet in the Women's bathroom.

How does this happen?

If it happened to you, wouldn't you be a little EMBARRASSED? Even if you knew that NO ONE knew it was you?

If it was an accident, WHY DIDN'T YOU PICK IT UP YOURSELF! Give our poor cleaning woman a break!

How does this keep happening? What is wrong with people?

At my old job (I used to work at Starbucks) this happened a lot with this same crazy homeless woman who would sneak in our back door (but she'd make it much much worse), but this is a secured office building and we are all adults! (at least, I thought so?)

What's the problem? Butt too big? Bad aim? I dont get it. Maybe I dont want to get it.

Are you kidding me?! That is way too gross. Seriously.......why couldn't they use the toilet that was right there, and if for whatever reason (???) they couldn't, then why didn't they have the decency to clean up?! Ewwww!

I worked in a production plant, and for some reason a lot of the women there would go into the bathroom and do stuff like that and then use the brown paper towels to wipe there butts with and then THROW IT ON THE FLOOR!

It made me sick! Luckily I was management and I could go to the office building most of the time, but when In a bind, I would be in trouble!! so much so it screwed up my stomach and I ended up in the hospital for a week!
I have no clue what makes people do what it is they do!!

It is just so GROSS!

We had this happen one time in my old office building and another person knew who did it. It was apparently a very large woman (on the bottom). I think she was a "hoverer" but do to her size and issues with her knees her aim was off. I'm not even aware that she knew she did it as it was found on the side of the toilet and closer to the back. It was gross.

This happened at my last job, even though there were very few women who worked there and it was way too easy for everyone to speculate about who did it.



I never could imagine the scenario or the position that lead to that particular placement of the "gift." Perhaps that was a gift in itself?

When I worked at a tanning salon, people frequently peed in the small trash cans in each of the rooms. There were also tampons, pads, and other gifts in them. Funny thing is, there's a restroom readily available and we would have been more than willing to stop their bed or give them a few extra minutes to take care of that to avoid having to use the trash cans!

I've been in a stall once or twice after someone who hovered. Not good.

Something not quite as gross but equally as disturbing is the number of times I would be in the stall, tending to business, and i'd hear someone enter the restroom, use, and then leave - without washing their hands. At the time I was working in an office with some of the top brass of a very big company. Omg...wash your hands!!!

What I don't understand are the grown women who leave doodles floating in the toilet. I can understand this from a man, being proud of his business and thinking leaving it to show would be funny. But a woman? Now, that is just gross. How hard is it to flush the toilet?

Not to be even more gross, but I have been in a stall next to a sloppy hoverer who had bad aim and came *this close* to my shoes. GROSS!!!

What I don't understand are the grown women who leave doodles floating in the toilet. I can understand this from a man, being proud of his business and thinking leaving it to show would be funny. But a woman? Now, that is just gross. How hard is it to flush the toilet?

Sounds like they are leaving their doodles on the floor NEXT to the toilet. <insert barfing smiley> I've never come across that in a restroom, but have seen other gifts left on the back of the toilet. Some people are just really gross. They'd never do that at their own home, but get them out in public and all bets are off.

Yuck!!! This may be weird but is there a possibility that maybe somebody at work is not happy with their job and leaving their little "gift" as an act of defiance.....You know sometimes you hear about people "pooping" on somebody's lawn when they are mad at them......You hear that in movies anyway......just a thought.....

If you weren't in Philly I would think you worked with me. The bathroom across from my office is shared only by female employees on this floor, so about 4 departments. About every other week or so this happens but the majority of the time they also step in it and track little poo prints through the bathroom and all down the hallway. I know who does it some of the time, but one night she was off and it happened so there are 2 people that do it It really defies the natural order of things.

This used to happen at one of my old jobs in the "nice" restroom. Once, another coworker stepped in the "gift". She threw her shoe away and made one out of paper towels to wear for the rest of the day.

This is a possibility! Our job is very very difficult and stressful, but I'm leaning more towards the 'big butt theory' because we have LOTS of those....

uuumm just have to point out that just because someone has a big butt does not make them a PIG! and not anymore likely to behave this way than someone with a skinny butt.

OMG I can't believe this is a such a common thing! Thank God I have never seen this before! And, as a bigger bottomed girl, I don't like the idea of blaming it on booty size....at least not as a general stereotype kind of statement anyway.

I edited my comment. I'm sorry if I offended anyone. I was wrong about what I wrote. It could have easily been someone hovering on an off angle.

I'm still in shock and am totally confused by this. And am DOUBLY so now that I am reading everyone else's comments about it happening at their places of business also!
