What is the best pen/marker for character autographs? We only have about 5 weeks left and I need to finish gathering everything we need for our trip!

I used a clicky sharpie. Not the kind where the cap comes off and you have to hold it, but the clicky kind. Does that make any sense? :confused3

I bought a two pack...one black & one red. We used the red because it didn't seem to "bleed" through the autograph book pages like the black did :thumbsup2.

Thanks for the heads up on the red. I have a couple of black ones in the Disney bag. Will have to add a red one to the mix.

We got the 12-pack of multi-color clickable Sharpies. Actually, we got four packs because we found them for $2 a couple years ago thanks to the DIS!!! They're perfect! We've also given a few away to those who were caught at meals or meets without a marker, so it was nice to have so many.

What a way to share Disney Magic!:thumbsup2

Well, thanks! I know the handler or someone near you in line usually has something, but it's nice to be ready to go at a moment's notice. :) Besides, what are we going to do with four dozen markers.

Am I dreaming or do they now have a sharpie marker that is 3 or 4 colors in one Marker? I'm off to look tomorrow

I prefer the Kooky pens from Staples. They are shorter but fat, click out pen and have a clip so you can attach to autograph book, backpack, fanny pack, etc.

Disney sells some in Disney characters.

We use the clicky Sharpies too! We usually bring a pillow to the parks and get the characters to sign the pillow case :)

Are they just regular pens? Or are they marker-type pens?

We used a Kooki pen too. It was perfect! We kept it clipped to the book so we wouldn't lose it. For DS's trip with the grandparents, my mom found these gigantic footlong pens with a quarter-sized barrell. Not quite as portable, but it worked great for the gloved characters!
