HI
Never did the pillow case before, so not sure on what type of pens to include with it for the characters to sign. When I did the photo mat I put in sharpies and it came out great. Will the sharpies work just as well on the pillow case OR should I look into some kind of fabric paint pens?
Thanks!

You can use permanent Sharpies...or you can get special fabric markers. Just read the fine print on the fabric markers--some have to be ironed with a hot iron to make them permanent (BEFORE washing!!!)

The Creative Memories Round Tip markers work well, too, and come in lots of colors!! They don't bleed around the edges like Sharpies sometimes can.

We've had 3 different sets of Pillow cases signed (on 3 different cruises) and used the same set of 9 tropical colored sharpies each cruise. All 3 sets of pillow cases still look great. One set is 2 years old and they are all washed quite a bit.

Have fun!

We did the Fine Point Sharpies and they worked well. Sent a baggie with the pillow cases and the pens and they appeared back in the room signed with all the markers in the bag.

A quick question - did you use the fine point (where the marker tip comes from the plastic and kind of comes to a point) or the ultra fine point with the metal tip casing?

I just can't seem to keep the fine point (the most common kind - the plastic tip casing) from bleeding after multiple washings.

I would use fabric pens if you can get them. I had a red sharpie pen for signatures and they have faded a good bit:eek: Thankfully, we are going again in Sept so I can get a new pillowcase signed with fabric pens.
