Has anyone every used this website? They have authentic(according to them) name brand handbags like Coach and Dooney and Bourke..etc. for really cheap like $3.00 I was taught if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is not true. So if you have had any experiences, I would like to hear them! Who knows I might get a few bags! Thanks

FAKE!!! The pictures they use might be authentic but that is certainly not going to be the bag that you end up receiving.

Pennypurses.com is an auction website. They aren't selling purses so much as they are selling the opportunity to bid. You have to join and pay a fee to purchase a number of bids. Only the winner of each auction actually gets to buy the purse at that price. How many bids do you think you might have to purchase and use before you actually win one of those bags (if ever)? There's your catch.

If you like brand name stuff then try a website like www.giltfuse.com, they sell brand name items at relatively low prices. We have ordered from them more often than necessary and everything is authentic.

By the way, congratulations! Epcot is a good place to be to celebrate family events. Our little girl was barely a year old when she took her first steps at Epcot. Very memorable. We visit every year. Looking forward to our next trip.

My very first post on this thread, regarding Penny Purses, was over a year ago. I allowed myself to be skeptical of Penny Purses before I actually gave it a real chance. I'm writing now to redeem myself and to say that since that time, I have won over a dozen purses from them and became a believer (and still believe to this day) that their website is legit. A lot of great deals can be had for those who are patient and knowledgeable of the item and their opponent(s). If you know nothing about penny auctions then educate yourself first. Bidding on a penny auction site is not the same as bidding on ebay. A $300 Michael Kors purse for $6 including the cost of bids seems too good to be true but it happened as well as similar deals just like it. Thanks PP. (=

Ok as a penny auction fan I had to at least go and check this site out. I am at a point in my life were I spend my extra cash on vacation, so even purchasing a small bid package wasn't something I was interested in. I noticed though that they offer 5 free bids for registering. I have found this a good way to test sites out. You don't really have much of a chance of winning anything with 5 bids. But I decided to try for a 50 bid pack and won! No kidding. I am not a noobie to these auctions and knew what strategy needed to be used. So I am thrilled 50 bids will be enough t0 get the item I am eyeing (I think, you never know). So I think you can do well but you really must spend sometime learning how the system works and watch lots of auctions close at a site you are interested so you can learn each player and how they play. I just got plain lucky on this one but I will update when I have a win and have received it. PS I am not a troll.
