Penny machines..

Hey everyone, I was wondering...can you "squish" Canadian pennies in the penny machines at WDW? Or are they not accepted currency? Just wondering if anyone has tried this..

My dh says yes you can, he claims to have used a canadian penny! He says he joked to my dd that she should'nt waste the american penny as it is worth about a buck canadian.

We've used Cdn pennies before, but make sure that they are really clean. For some reason the US ones seem to be brighter when they are pressed.

Do our pennies need to be certain years, like the US pennies (ie: 1983 or older)? Or just use any old ones?

if I understand it
it is illegal to deface canidian currency, but not american.
That is why you are not 'suppose' to use our coin.

...shh... don't tell anyone....

At the Winnipeg Zoo it has a penny press, but it drops in an American penny for you.
