Hi everyone! My letter and peanut bars (yes, 2 of them) arrived from Maria today. Thank you very much.

Yours should have shown up today, but when I checked the tracking, it is still sitting in Martinsville, Va.. Hmmm.. It was scanned in on May 14 (Monday) at 7:52 am but hasn't moved since then?...Ummm...well.... darn!!!

I will check the tracking in the morning and if doesn't show that it has left, I will reprint my letter, grab another twist and send another on its way... Could it be that the sorter in Martinsville was able to guess the sweet? Hope not, but, it is what is ....geesh......

The weather here has been up and down, but here's hoping for a great weekend!

I had received something today that was postmarked on the 13th, so maybe the letter/twist you had sent to Maria just needs a day or two for it to arrive. It is your choice. If you would like to go ahead, and resend or if you would like to wait....it is your choice. Just keep me posted.

Glad everything arrived safely! It's funny....I thought the chocolate was made exclusively in Berkeley, but when I got home and looked, it's made in IL! So, my treat was bought where I live now, but made where I used to live.

Checking in i will be on vacation starting tomorrow, and will not have internet access untill Sunday 5/27. Letter has not arrived yet, but if it was in Martinsville yesterday it should be here tomorrow. Will post when I return.

Postal red tape!!!! The hoops a person has to jump through for info is insane! I called the Martinsville post office yesterday, where the package is still stuck. They can not locate it...?? Their response is that it may be in the carriers vehicle and just wasn't scanned...uggh...
So fast forward to last night and a conversation with hubby. He says, well as many packages as I send it was bound to happen ...ok....the two of us decided to resend.
As of this morning, at approximately 10:31 am another letter and twist is on its way...This time it is coming in a priority mail box (hopefully harder for it to get "stuck").
What I sent is locally made and very tasty! When she posts what it is, if anyone would like to try it, just let me know and I will send some.

According to the post office website, package #2 was delivered at 1:21 pm...yeah,, package #1,,still in Martinsville...chalking that one up to a lost cause.
