We are expecting our 3rd child in a few weeks, and I still haven't made my mind up on a stroller. We have 5-year-old twins, so our other stollers are doubles, and I kind of went over-board trying to find the perfect stroller! So, we now have a double jogger, a Peg Perego Twin Aria & a Graco DuoGlider, along with 2 single Maclaren Volos.
Each of the above strollers have served their purpose well, and I don't regret purchasing any of them, but I would LOVE to find the 1 perfect stroller this time around. So, I'm looking for something that will accomodate an infant carseat, will work as a "walking stroller" (I'm not a jogger/runner, but I do a lot of sidewalk walking), and something that would work well for places like the mall (and WDW!). And, I want for the stroller to be relatively compact & light-weight, as I have limited space in my vehicle for a stroller, and would love to not have to buy a new vehicle to accomodate my stroller!
So, I was sure I wanted to get a Baby Jogger City Mini, but then started to realize that a stroller I thought was reasonably priced ($220) was much more expensive once I purchased all the accessories necessary to make it an "all-purpose" stroller - car-seat adaptor, belly bar (necessary to attach child tray), parent convience tray. All of a sudden the $220 stroller has become a $350 stroller. AND, I originally loved the easy fold feature & how compact the stroller was when it was folded, but once you add the attachments, I don't love the fold feature as much.
So, I found the Peg Perego Vela:

And, I can get this stroller for $160. It is similar to the City Mini, but I don't know if it will be as durable as the City Mini. But, wondering if it will be durable enough for my purposes. We saw it last night at one of our local stores and right now I really like it, but wondering if anyone has any experience with this stroller - or if anyone has any other strollers they might like to suggest
Thank you!
