We are expecting our 3rd child in a few weeks, and I still haven't made my mind up on a stroller. We have 5-year-old twins, so our other stollers are doubles, and I kind of went over-board trying to find the perfect stroller! So, we now have a double jogger, a Peg Perego Twin Aria & a Graco DuoGlider, along with 2 single Maclaren Volos.

Each of the above strollers have served their purpose well, and I don't regret purchasing any of them, but I would LOVE to find the 1 perfect stroller this time around. So, I'm looking for something that will accomodate an infant carseat, will work as a "walking stroller" (I'm not a jogger/runner, but I do a lot of sidewalk walking), and something that would work well for places like the mall (and WDW!). And, I want for the stroller to be relatively compact & light-weight, as I have limited space in my vehicle for a stroller, and would love to not have to buy a new vehicle to accomodate my stroller!

So, I was sure I wanted to get a Baby Jogger City Mini, but then started to realize that a stroller I thought was reasonably priced ($220) was much more expensive once I purchased all the accessories necessary to make it an "all-purpose" stroller - car-seat adaptor, belly bar (necessary to attach child tray), parent convience tray. All of a sudden the $220 stroller has become a $350 stroller. AND, I originally loved the easy fold feature & how compact the stroller was when it was folded, but once you add the attachments, I don't love the fold feature as much.

So, I found the Peg Perego Vela:

And, I can get this stroller for $160. It is similar to the City Mini, but I don't know if it will be as durable as the City Mini. But, wondering if it will be durable enough for my purposes. We saw it last night at one of our local stores and right now I really like it, but wondering if anyone has any experience with this stroller - or if anyone has any other strollers they might like to suggest :)

Thank you!

I do not own one but I own the regular aria. I love my aria but it is getting old and we were out looking for a replacement. We found the Vela and the city mini to be the 2 for us to choose between. We found the Vela to be almost exactly the same as the aria but with one front wheel and the back wheels single and more spread apart. It still has a one hand fold and then can stand by itself unlike the city mini. It still has all of the padding so it is still comfy. I think we are going the pick the vela.. I love my Aria and hope to love my Vela too.:wizard:

I Have a stroller obsession like you! with my second I got the peg Perego P3... It is my perfect stroller! (for a full size).. My maclaren Techno xt is my small Perfect stroller) I have I kid you not 6 strollers! These two are my favorites though. I will be using the Peg P3 for our third aswell.. I won't be getting anymore strollers! I am still happy with this one 2 years later! I love that it has a stand bar on the back for my 5 year old....

We looked at it when it first came out. On paper looks really good, but when we looked at it and played around with it we found it to be cheap. Compared to the Baby Jogger the Vela lot big time in our opinion.
