PeepsII-The Hot, Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Feb 2010. 12/2-Part 2 has begun.

Hi Jordan!

It took me a while to get over here, and at the rate I'm going, it just might take me until the start of your trip to catch up. Which is why I'm here now, saying "I'm here!" :rotfl: I haven't the foggiest what's going on, but I'll catch up eventually... ;)

10 dollars for a better seat? Where do i sign up?

No worries about reading the whole PTR. It's pretty long.....but there's links....

There is a link on the Southwest site for Early Bird Check In. It keeps you from having to print your boarding pass right at 24 hours before your flight. You pay the $10 and you are set up behind the super frequent fliers and before all of the people that didn't pay the $10.

You know that seat on the plane where you have an exit row and a space beside you? The only row with 2 seats in the middle of the plane? I love that seat...you get a window seat and a bunch of extra space around you...

I was able to get that seats on BOTH legs of my trip when I paid the $10.

I did NOT pay it on the way back, though, and our plane was not even remotely full and I got a whole row to myself...so if you think the plane won't be crowded, then you could save the $10. But if you are pretty sure it will be full and want an exit row and such...it is a bargain!

And someone offered me $20 to switch seats on one of the flights. Uh...no. But thanks for asking. :rotfl2: Now if he had offered a hundred bucks...it would have been HIS! :cool2:

V!!!!!!!!!!

So glad you made it over.

No worries. People are hopping on board w/o really going back and reading. It's pretty easy to catch on to what we're talking about. The current chatter is about booking a flight. I just booked Southwest for my trip to Orlando. Not the first time I've flown SWA, but the first time I've flown them cross country.

People are giving me all kinds of cool advice.....:thumbsup2

I'm going back over to the SWA site to check it out!

Thanks SOOO much for the great advice. It'll make my first trip that much better. Is it 10/per leg of the trip?

I'm not very familiar with the layout of SWA planes. Is there a layout somewhere?

I did not know that. Thanks!

Me neither. Pretty cool, huh?

Another fan of Southwest here! The flight attendants are the funniest!!

I guess I'm just a bandwagon fan then...;)

The $10 is for that day's flights...so if it takes 3 flights to get across the country, your $10 would pay for all of them. But you would have to pay another $10 to get the priviledge for the way home. :thumbsup2

** Just roll your mouse over the seat and it gives you details regarding why it is a good/bad seat.

These are GREAT links as they describe which seats are considered good and bad and why! :)

Oh, come on, where's your sense of adventure?

Hey, I've jumped out of a plane. I have plenty of adventure. Dung is not my idea of adventure.

Jordy, I may have to revise my opinion on SW, lots of fans here! I just don't like the idea of my crew not sitting together. But to be fair, it's not exactly an airline us Seattle have much access to so I haven't flown it in well...a very very long time.

:lmao:

I wonder if the cards would bend into shapes when heat is applied...:scratchin

I'm sure it would....now exactly what shape it would bend into might be a problem.

Hey, can you make me a wheelchair??

Just don't hurt yourself doing it....it would be hard to explain to the e.r. doctor how you hurt yourself because you were making things out of disney cards.:rotfl:

I was never a fan, but there apparently is alot to love besides the low prices...

I flew Alaska almost exclusively when I lived in Portland....

:lmao:

Now, I will HAVE to come up with something, won't I? ;)

Binder looks like shes really enjoying the beach! :goodvibes

I was using my key cards for bookmarks, but the sheer numbers are getting out of hand. Since I typically only read book at a time, I don't know what to do with the other stack -- hmmm, I wonder what "green" craft project I could devise with old key cards. :lmao:
What about making a dress like that chick did for the Oscars out of AMEX cards? :rotfl2:

Chapter 32. Decisions, decisions.
