A couple of cutie patooties!! DS doesn't have a sibling, so he does things like this with me instead. Sometimes it feels a little silly taking a picture with a pretend camera when I have a real one hanging around my neck.....but I wouldn't trade it for the world!

The best thing about having multiple children. They are much more willing to engage in silly things for a longer period than the average adult is. Whew. I often feel silly doing things they ask me to but thankfully they'll often move on to bossing each other around.

Phew! Just finished speed reading the last 7 pages of "Part One" and catching up on this one! Don't you people work! Yesterday there was nothing when I checked and today I get home and there's 20 pages of reading! Anyways, both you and Laura need to join in the rest of us with some free food in September. We can all pose for pics and test our peep locating skills! Although, you will be there in spirit (aka: cardboard), if not in body. My DBF is already raising eyebrows at my desire to take pics of food for our upcoming trip. Oh well! The kids are adorable as ever and I can't wait for the next update! Oh, and if you ever do come to Boston again, I know where to find the good food.

I do understand his thinking, but on the flip side Courtney might not want to go or may be in college and can't go....You want the 2 sisters to be able to have memories together before it's too late....Have him listen to "You're gonna miss this" by Trace Adkins...see if that works. Then let me know when your next trip is...

I have a plan. We went in 2006 & 2008 I want to go in 2010. If we go in Nov of 2010 Grace will be 3 and a half. Close enough. Right??? What do you think?

They already like taking pictures of things. Many times they just do it pretend (make their hands into cameras and say "cheese" and then "click") - so it's pretty funny.

Dylan: "Erin, take a picture of me saying cheese"
Erin: "Ok... (holds hands up like a camera)... say cheese"
Dylan: "Cheese"
Erin: "Click" "Ok, my turn..."
and then vice versa...

What hams they are. They find themselves amusing (wonder what relative they get THAT from? ) so that lends itself to their comedic acts.

Wendy, my kids do this too . In fact, they do this with other kids too. DD will pick up any available prop and tell her friends the say "Cheese". But get them in front of a real camera and it takes some coaxing to get them to pose. DS is good for about 2 pictures. I love the way Erin and Dylan will do all the different emotions for you.

I love the update. Erin and Dylan are great! I love how they just join in and accept that their family poses for crazy pics. I wonder how I'm going to get my family to do the same this summer

As I promised I came home and did a Trip Report reading blitz and got caught up on all of your updates, I enjoyed them all and especially all the pictures, I’m kind of a visual kind a guy.

I do need to mention that I was extremely offended and appalled at your comments in regards to the suggested required attire for women riding the Kali River rapids. I can in no way suppo…
