hey, jordan! glad i was able to say goodbye before you leave! i will be waiting for any live updates you wanna share! i didn't even realize winkers was there already until i checked facebook a minute ago. i was in court in atlanta all day and have to go back tomorrow (this lady who is representing herself had on red wrestling boots in court today.....for realz. you would've gotten a kick out of it!) so i won't be able to say farewell. so i'm getting it over with now!

Hi all... just popping in for a quick update - it's 1:45am here and although it's only Thursday night and we don't leave until Saturday morning, I'm allllmost all packed!!! (I'm sort of where I'd normally be on Friday night).

So tomorrow just have to do the kids toiletries, and some last minute things that I couldn't pack early (Erin's meds, etc.). Also some toys for Ashlyn and Dylan has to pack his carryon bag (Erin already packed hers tonight! Good girl!). So I actually might get to clean the house a bit and actually have a not so crazy day.

However, I still have to take Dylan to school; take the girls for haircuts; pick up Dylan from school; take Erin/Dylan to a birthday party; take Erin for her piano skills test; come home and do what I said above. Oh, and somewhere in there I'd like Erin to start her week's worth of homework so I don't have to bring it to WDW with us (although I will need something to punish her with, right? When I have to follow through and take her back in the middle of the day? Hee hee.). But hopefully we can all get to bed early since we have to leave the house around 5:45am. Ugh.

Kids' health is on the mend... Dylan's pretty much all better and Erin's doing better too (still on antibiotics for ear infection but not complaining anymore and no fever). Ashlyn has a cough and runny nose but it's getting better too... hope that's good mojo for us...

Pray for the weather for Kim/Allan - supposedly they're getting snow tomorrow through the weekend and so they tried to get a flight out earlier tomorrow (instead of Sat) but no luck - all flights are full. They said some flights are being cancelled but so far theirs is still in tact. So hopefully they'll be able to fly out of NJ. Otherwise we might actually beat them there... but hopefully not....

Anyway - just getting our travel docs together and then I might call it a night... Me getting sleeeeeepy.

Thanks all for your wonderful wishes and pixie dust! Come up to say hi if you see any of us. We promise we'll try to refrain from pulling out the pepper spray too hastily. Hee hee.

Ok, so I'm happy and I'm sad...

I check the weather again and happy because it is actually now showing only 1 day of possible rain, and sunny or cloudy but clear the rest of the time... but sad because I packed for generally cooler days and colder nights... but happy because then rain isn't going to impact us as much... but sad because I just went out and bought a stroller rain cover and ponchos for all of us (so we wouldn't fall prey to having to buy them there)... but happy because I didn't open the stroller cover and so I can just take it and if I don't use it, return it... sad because I also didn't open the ponchos but since I got it a the 99 cent store, don't know if I can return them... but happy because Jordan's TL day is now slated to be 77 degrees... but sad because I'm wondering if I need to rethink some of the clothing choices... happy that I am now 96% done packing... sad that I might have just set myself back several percentage points (especially if I tell DH who for sure will now want to take more shorts and I am running tight on the suitcase space and I want to leave some for potential souvies coming home.)

Ohhhhh, the ups and downs of it all. Sigh.
