Now I had planned on capris(3) shorts( 2) and jeans( 2) 2 zipperhoodies, 1 sweatshirt and 2 l/s shirts plus a hoodie I wear down there !! Now considering I am from the frigid North will this be okay oh forgot several T Shirts !!

Chapter 66. Yesterday, today and tomorrow.

So I went shopping today. You already know I don't like shopping. So you know how the day went. However, before I talk about shopping let me speak briefly about the youth retreat I spoke at.

The retreat was held in the Santa Cruz Mountains. It's about an hour and 1/2 south of San Francisco. The Retreat Center is called Redwood Christian Camps. Here's just one picture of the grounds:

I delivered 4 messages over 3 days. I had never done 4 in a row before so I was a little apprehensive to see how this would all unfold. It ended up not being so bad. In fact, after the first message, I wasn't nervous at all or at least, not very much. I was able to sleep well which was a nice change of pace.

My messages had these four titles: Listen, Live, Love and Learn.

You first have to clear distractions so you can Listen
The Holy Spirit Lives in us.
Love your enemies.
Learn all you can.

Very basic. I had 6th-12th graders. So I had to be very simple.

I had a great time and a fire was lit inside of me. I miss that kind of ministry.....We'll see what comes up in 2010.

Okay, back to the present:

I went shopping today I do not like shopping or let's say I don't like browsing and when you go to Outlet Malls you can't just walk in and find what you like. You have to look for the good stuff and you have to find the best bargains. My roommates and I were there 5 1/2 hours. OY!

This outlet mall for some reason attracts Peeps. In fact, I would say 70 percent of the people there today were Peeps

I ended up buying a few things:

Still no shoes. I probably need 2 pairs. I also need 1 more pair of jeans and 1 pair of shorts and 2-3 polo type shirts. I'm on Zappos looking right now.

Okay, it's almost 2am. I gotta sleep.

One last thing....I'm going to Walt Disney World next month

Isn't God amazing? It's usually when we step out of our comfort zone that we can see that God is truly there. I'm so glad the retreat went well and that you got your fire back. It's a wonderful thing.

You and my brother wear the same jeans size..funny how things like that make it easy to "picture" a person..at least if you're around 5'8 or so, anyway! :lol:

And last but not least...FOLD people..fold..scrunching wastes way too much paper. The princess scrunches and it drives me absolutely batty!!! Though not as batty as leaving the cap off the toothpaste..grr!
