And I'm happy to hear your retreat went well. It brought back a lot of memories for me. I went to an all girls Catholic high school and we went on yearly retreats to Mount Manrisa and longer weekend retreats at Shelter Rock on Long Island. They were great. Those kids were very lucky to have you as one of their retreat speakers

Seriously, I think you are supposed to "dry off" with the real toilet paper (?) Or I guess you could squirt a bunch of powder down there after. Isn't that what we did to our kids??

No, you don't dry off after. If you want to get technical - the regular tp is used first, then you 'finish up' with the wipe. Don't knock it till you try it!! Once you go wet, you'll never go back!

I just ordered another pair of sneakers yesterday on road runner sports. They need to get here ASAP so I can start breaking them in.

I've been looking at zappos. I may go to Off Broadway on Monday to see what they have, but their selection is limited that's why I like going online.

I need mine asap as well for the same reasons.

Isn't God amazing? It's usually when we step out of our comfort zone that we can see that God is truly there. I'm so glad the retreat went well and that you got your fire back. It's a wonderful thing.

I can't believe it's next month! After all the planning. I haven't even looked at my itinerary in a few weeks. I guess I'm gonna have to break that puppy out.

I got some things for colder weather which I needed and you can't have too many chonies.

I'm glad the retreat went so well for you, Jordan..I can see you as being very effective with that age group with your sense of humor and modern outlook.

Thanks. I got feedback that the younger ones had a hard time relating to me. So I'll have to re-think some of my examples were I to do it again.

And last but not least...FOLD people..fold..scrunching wastes way too much paper. The princess scrunches and it drives me absolutely batty!!! Though not as batty as leaving the cap off the toothpaste..grr!

It seems that max. hand coverage is an issue for some that scrunch. While that is a concern for me. I don't really think about it too much. If I happen to miss the TP a bit, I just wash my hands really, really, really good. Bet that makes you want to shake my hand huh?

Seriously, I grew up going to these same retreats. I have such great memories of them and it really provided such a strong foundation. I don't know if I would've survived my "dark years" without that foundation.
