Those extra two days should be nice and relaxing...maybe just lying by the pool all day if it is warm. :goodvibes

Is your favorite theme park restroom in Canada?

I've played mini golf at Disney. We've done Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland. Winter Summerland is definitely a lot easier than Fantasia Gardens. It's also easier to get to. Just take the bus to Blizzard Beach. If you happen to pay for a round, I believe you get a second round half price (at least that's what we got in August) which is valid until the next day.

Do you golf? I've been taking lessons with a PGA pro at Chelsea Piers and am considering a lesson during my Disney stay. That might be something you can do as well, if you're interested.

That Grey Goose slushie looks so good. I wish I had one right now. But 8:10 a.m., right before my students come in, is probably not the best time :lmao:

I like the idea of taking a day off as well, relax, recharge, etc. Might be fun to do a resort scavenger hunt..would give you time to drin...ermm..make your way around to some of them and explore. I'm sure there are some Dis'ers who would help you out with clues. Mini-golf sounds better to me than a spa day or a movie, but you could also do golf and a movie on the same day.

Yumm...Grey goose slushie! As for the bathroom, I would say in AK somewhere (hmm..seems kinda obvious..lol) Is it the one close to Yak & Yeti? I think I remember you mentioning that one..maybe.

Next on the agenda: I have to come clean. I am pretty sure now that Home Depot is NOT discontinuing the Mickey Heads....OOPS.

that's actually good to hear, seeing as my lazy bum hasn't made it to home depot to swipe a load of mickey heads yet!

Suggestions?

Has anyone ever done peewee golf? I think you get one free admission w/ the package.
Spa? Which one is the best?
Movie?
How about something different? Wendy and Derek sent me on a photo scavenger hunt once....

we call it mini golf here in the south. peewee golf just makes me think you're playing golf with peewee herman. :rotfl: ray and i were gonna play a round at fantasia gardens once but ray decided he wanted to go to epcot that day instead (and i almost killed over from shock). i hear it's pretty fun though.

i think a photo scavenger hunt sounds so fun but that's just because i'm a dork.

Stating the obvious

My second favorite restroom at WDW. Guess where this is? Single flusher. no going back and looking....where's my favorite theme park restroom located.
wdwfeb2008342.jpg

i honestly have no idea where that is. but now i'm on the edge of my seat. popcorn::

I like the idea of one of your non-park days being the day your switch over your resort. That would be a wonderful time to relax, settle in and resort hop or whatever else your heart desires. Or you could do something crazy like a resort challenge and take a picture of yourself at every Disney Resort in one day. :rotfl:

No clue where your restroom is but I'm going to say Wilderness Lodge. :confused3

jordan the gold by the swan and dolphin is alot of fun, we have done both courses, i dont remember the official nam eof it but the one that is just like a real golf course but smaller version is a blast, some of the holes are like 70 feet long.

have you ever done the searacers, those are a blast.

I will admit I did have a bit of a laugh over pee wee golf. ;)
I think resort exploring sounds like a great idea...and if you will be over at AKV then you will have both to check out. :thumbsup2
I am very perplexed at the location of your favorite loo! :rotfl:
Ooh I do love me some GGS. During F&W there was a Cosmo slush also in France (CP can support me on this one:thumbsup2) and we have heard that it will now be there full time. It is soooooo good! :goodvibes

Oh I love relaxing days at Disney!! Disney just knows how to do relaxation right!!! I have been to both the Grand Floridian spa and the Saratoga Springs Spa and while I loved them both...GF totally won my heart...it was AMAZING!!!

I have never been mini golfing at Disney but I have heard great things about it!!!

But the Saints have to win to keep that unbeaten record! Growing up I was a big Cowboys fan. Of course we're all behind the Saints!

But we have to win to stop hearing about how terrible we are in December! At least this year it's not Tony's fault (Romo's, not my husband's. I mean, it's not my husband's fault either obviously.) But yeah, most everyone I know in Dallas has been secondarily pulling for the Saints this year. How could you not?

I don't know why every time I type Vanessa I start thinking wait, her user name looks like Vanessa but maybe the V stands for Valerie...or Virginia...or Va-va-va-voom.

All to well. :sad2: Been a Rangers fan ALMOST as long I've been a Cowboys fan. (I got to see Nolan Ryan pitch several times back when I was in high school.) It's certainly somthing that builds one's coping skills. And teaches you the importance of living with unmet needs.

Interestsing discussion on the radio yesterday morning: What would be better? The Cowboys botch the rest of the games, miss the playoffs and we get rid of Wade Phillips & write the season off OR they squeak into the playoffs and lose in the first round AGAIN?

Tough call. I don't think Phillips survives the off season either way so I'm all for winning as many games as possible.

Of course losing would help us in the draft...

High school? You are a young biscuit my friend. Remember the year the Rangers made the playoffs and beat the Yankees in game 1? I had just moved to NY and plastered the headlines all over my office...for the one day it lasted.

We're probably better off not making the playoffs for draft purposes. I agree that Wade is gone either way, but you know it doesn't really matter until Jerry realizes that we will never get a great coach as long as he insists on acting like he is the coach...and that will never happen, I fear. I don't really understand it, and I sometimes wonder if over time the same thing will happen to the Mavs with Cuban so involved. All I know is that I was wondering the other day if it would be easier to be a Lions fan. At least your expectations wouldn't be raised.

Chapter 61. A little something for everyone.

I've been thinking about my intinerary. I have 12 full days and a 10 day ticket. I can do the Give a Day, Get a Day to pick up an extra day, but I don't know if I can git'er'done before the trip. I currently have the Water Park and More add on. However, given the unpredictability of weather during the winter months, Typhoon Lagoon may not end up working out. I can switch things around on the fly if there ends up being a warm day on a day that I have something else scheduled. That said, I may have a day or two where I can't go into the parks.

My second favorite restroom at WDW. Guess where this is? Single flusher. no going back and looking....where's my favorite theme park restroom located.

I think we may try to squeeze the get a day/give a day even though we have tix for all our days. Looks like you can also get fastpasses (to select attractions, whatever that means) and if we don't want those then you can also donate the free day to a local boys and girls club. I know what you mean on the time though, the program doesn't start until 1/1/10 so it depends what they offer in January and if we can work it in.

Donna Sue wants to get massages so we were planning on the Grand Floridian on an off-park day but I'm having second thoughts to tell the truth. Massages are great but I can get them at home so I'm not sure I want to use the vacation time/money to get one. I'm leaving that up to her though, I have heard the spa there is very nice. Plus like I said we actually have tix for all days so I might want to use them.

As for the bathroom, obviously AK but as I've never been to that park I don't feel at all bad saying I don't know.

Yeah, the 49ers have been suffering too...but at least you didn't just build a jillion dollar stadium to show off your under-achieving team. Actually, I think y'all just have personnel problems getting a good team together. We just have...problems.

Camp MinnieMickey?

I'm thinking that your favorite restroom was at Epcot somewhere....or at least there was one there that was frequented...um, infrequently. ???

But we have to win to stop hearing about how terrible we are in December! At least this year it's not Tony's fault (Romo's, not my husband's. I mean, it's not my husband's fault either obviously.) It's Vanessa, but I think I like Va-va-va-voom better! It sound so much more interesting.

We'll have our fingers and toes crossed that the Saints can pull off another win!

It's so exciting!! 50 days!!! :banana::banana:
I think this day is a good day to do the non-park thing. I've always wanted to take a day just resort hopping, do it for me and tell me if it's worth it. :3dglasses ;)

It's sounding like that's what I'm going to do.

Thanks Jordy!...I'll probably be put into Home Depot jail the next time I shop there and child protective services will probably be banging on my door any day now so they can interview me to see if I'm a fit parent, but other than that!..... Although....I did get a life time supply of MHPC's! :rotfl: I don't think I'll be running out any time soon.
By the way....19 Jordy? ;)
I bet you could take one in every color and no one would think anything of it. Let me know if you want some of mine, I'll be happy to share. :grouphug:

You have enough for everyone. You and Dan...:thumbsup2. Lay low and then do another strike some time after the New Year.;)

Sorry for the misinformation.

I have no idea where your favorite bathroom is- I probably care about that as much as you care about which salad dressing I plan to get at any given TS place. Well, ok, maybe it might be fun to know; but rather than wade through the lot, I"ll wait for your answer. No, that won't do at all, going now.

I think someone get its right in a post I saw.

Never done peewee golf.

Really?

Liesa said:
I'd say take your resort hopping day on the day they all leave. A good time to wind down and enjoy the "alone-ness".

I hope it's warm so all this will be a no-brainer. I'll just go to Typhoon Lagoon:thumbsup2

Liesa said:
Do you really think it'd be taht hard to squeeze in the Give/Get day?? There ought to be plenty of opps. during the 'season'. Might give you a little flex if you need it, or the water park thing doesn't work out. :confused3

I'll probably do the Give/Get sometime during the year. I don't have an AP and it's my understanding that you can apply your FREE ticket towards an AP, a savings of about 75 bucks.

Those extra two days should be nice and relaxing...maybe just lying by the pool all day if it is warm. :goodvibes

Is your favorite theme park restroom in Canada?

Nope not in Canada. Only restrooms in Canada are in Le Cellier.

If it's warm, then it's definitely Typhoon Lagoon. Nothing like floating down Castaway Creek:cloud9:

I've played mini golf at Disney. We've done Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland. Winter Summerland is definitely a lot easier than Fantasia Gardens. It's also easier to get to. I am not a golfer.

I think I'll probably go to Fantasia as Blizzard Beach is closed so I don't even know if Winter Summerland will be open.

I happen to know you like Grey Goose.;)

The slushie is very good.

You are in the right park.

Nope. The one near Yak and Yeti has an interesting painting on the entrance. I also felt like I was in India because the people in the bathroom were all speaking in their native tongue..

that's actually good to hear, seeing as my lazy bum hasn't made it to home depot to swipe a load of mickey heads yet!

I think the bulletin went out to be on the lookout for crazy people going after Mickey Heads.

The scavenger hunt I did in early 2000s was fun. I think I used a Polaroid!!!!!!!

I'm thinking I want to do PeeWee Golf one day.

Tequila!

I'm actually liking the whole take a picture at every resort idea. That in itself might be very tiring.

Nope not Wilderness Lodge.

Which one? Is it your peewee seat?! Don't miss.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I like Cranberry so the cosmo slushie sounds good. Got to get those anti-oxidants;)
