Peeps 2. The Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Pt 2. Feb '10. 2/21-Final Chapter. Link to TR

To back track to all the weather talk..you all just make me happy I am where I am! No floods, fires, earthquakes, tornados or blizzards! (Well..maybe a blizzard once every ten years, but I can deal with that!) Normally we might get 1-3 inches of snow two or three different times over the winter. So who's moving??

OMG...I don't know how I missed this but am subbing on to another Peeps PTR...

I read your first post and almost destroyed my keyboard with coffee (I really should know by now)...I swear (I shouldn't- but I do) that your threads should be required to carry a warning that reading while drinking (coffee ;) ) could and probably will be hazardous to the life of your keyboard...:lmao:

Have to catch up now...

I applaud your industry downloading the Robert Pattinson photo...:thumbsup2

Caught up once again! It's so not fair, I can't keep up too much to do before Christmas.

I'm loving the titles for the new PTR. I wish I was witty.

Yes we had snow flurries on Friday night but it didn't stick here in Baton Rouge. We had a lovely snow last year with about 4 inches! Truly a miracle down here. It's raining cats and dogs right now. I too ruined a car engine in the rain. I was on my way to a ob appt and didn't want to be late. My car was way to low to drive through the water but I did it anyway. They didn't total the car but did have to replace the engine.

Another for your perusal:

2 Weeks in the Ft.- Where Will the Trail's End?

Jordan I love the banter between your readers, it is so fun to read along to. I am laughing at all the possible trip report titles, they are too funny :lmao:.

You would appreciate this...

Just the other day, as part of some safety training at work we had to look at various pictures and write down all of the poor safety practices and hazards...kind of a "what's wrong with this picture" thing. One of them was taken at a Wal-Mart, and I think what they were going for was that someone had set bags down near the door, making themselves a target for theft. But I noticed that there was a guy in the picture with, I kid you not, pink crocs on. So naturally I wrote down, "the guy on the left with pink crocs on....that is wrong on so many levels!"

Was he wearing a Kilt???????:lmao:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Crocs are everywhere...pink? Really? you're answer woulda been mine!:rotfl2:

Kilt? Rosie, quit bringing up the kilt;) I will not wear one at WDW...well....

We haven't had an earthquake in awhile. We're overdue:scared1:

Glad you are here now PPP.

As I learned when preparing speeches, know your audience. I knew placing that Twilight Dude at the top of my PTR would garner a little attention.:thumbsup2

I wish it would snow here even if it didn't stick. It's going to be cold the next 2 nights, but clear so no snow. By cold, I mean in the high 30's.

Glad you're here!

Love that. We SO have you beat. it is FREEZING up here. For us anyway. 17 on my drive home. BLEH. Black ice.

what's funny is i did that fuzzy disney math too but it's on a piece of scrap paper in my office instead of on my TR.....you are much more organized about it!

i think what appeals to me most with paying OOP is that i can order what i WANT instead of what is dictated for me. i'm not a big sweets person so sometimes i don't want a dessert and would rather have a salad or appetizer or maybe nothing at all. sometimes ray and i will share a CS meal so we don't need all those CS credits. plus i just don't use all those snacks. then when you add in alcohol and tip, you're really still paying a good bit out of pocket anyway. but that's just me and how i see it.

I like that reasoning, Dawn. I don't think the dessert is that good at most places - I'd rather have the appy or salad, too.

I'm just speechless....:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

we found that while the dinning plan was fun while free, when we paid for food, we did not like being tied down to reservations and liked that we could decide on the fly or eat a few smaller meals different places for dinner

but it is really up to you and what you like better

its late im rambling ng=ight jordan

IKWYM - We are thinking about just doing more CS meals next time - I enjoy the TS meals, but I don't like scheduling around ADRs so much. There are alot of healthy choices out there at CS too.

It's not all it's cracked up to be.

I seriously want to move South. I really hate it. I had a traumatic experience driving home in the snow in late 2007 and I haven't gotten over it. I have such anxiety at this point. I used to not mind driving in the snow but it's at the point where I have to talk to myself the entire time, giving myself a pep talk.

I used to love to have snow for Christmas but now I'm thinking Palm Trees would be nice. :rolleyes1

I'll take the palm trees any day - it's 5 degrees here tonight! :cold:

That's one of the main reasons I live in Texas...you don't have to shovel rain.

Sounds good to me.

You would appreciate this...

You probably won't but I'll bet FJ would :rolleyes1

I'm loving all the Faunt TR title ideas! :thumbsup2 I don't think I can follow any of those. I keep thinking about that movie RV and the "Great Big Rolling T***" song - especially since potty talk has been so prevelant here.

I loved the scene where Robin Williams had to empty the toilet tank - my DH actually had the same thing happen once at a campground with a camper we borrowed - not happy. :lmao:

How about "Quick! We'll ditch the Gornicke's in Fort Wilderness!"

or: "Great Big Rolling ____ Fort Wilderness Adventure"

"Watch out Chip N Dale, We're movin' In"

Black Ice....yikes.

:rotfl::rotfl:

too funny! did you get the question right?

Well, I know I got it right, but I don't know if I got it "right" yet...we have several to turn in in a couple of days.

You're a man's man Jordie. Which you have to be, to be able to pull off wearing a kilt.

Yes, we need to be reminded of that! ::yes:: :rotfl:

You could always go with the Bronx annunciation and spell it Toid.

Hurray! Jordan's back!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zU_sGTASKW0

I'm not nearly as witty as everyone else here to banter so I will only put in my .000002 cents worth in but am loving all the comments! btw I ALMOST had an opportunity to see the famous Jordan last year when I was there 1/31-02/3/09. Someday maybe we'll cross paths and I'll just admire from afar ;)

morning dude, just had lunch here, mmmm pizza.

well at least you did not turn off your alarm, and wake up 8 minutes before you had to be at work, luckily, i live .6 miles from work, and was only 3 minutes late,

your welcome, just gives us that much longer to become better friends here before we meet. we will run in slow motion to that chariots song and then jump to hug missing each other and you falling flat on the ground while slow motion dan, turns to see how we missed and run into a light poll.
:lmao:

:rotfl2: Oooooh, I have a feeling I'm gonna looooove reading from your PTR, any friend of Jordie's is a friend of mine!
Think you could get your beautiful wife to chime in every once and a while on your PTR? Would love to hear from her too! :) It's been so much fun hearing from Wendy on Jordie's PTR, that I thought maybe we could hear from your wifey-poo too.

Pipersmom~
Let me just say that I love reading the short bit that I've read so far. :yay: And GB is right.....:sad1: read it with a box of tissues. I love your funny sense of humor, this lady, folks, will have you all in stitches when you read her stuff, just go back and read some of the almost NC-17 stuff she and Jordie wrote over a week or so ago. :rotfl2: Uh huh, :snooty: as a Christian woman I would neva find that sort of thing to be laugh worthy.....Oh! Who am I kidding! She's a freakin hoot! Read her PTR!
