OMG! OMG! OMG! I have to show this to you guys!! My birthday was Sunday and my DH was really upset because his gift for me wasn't finished yet. He is a wire jewelry artist and he has been incredibly busy lately. ANYWAY, I just got my birthday gift and I am in tears!!

Do you recognize that red Mickey head inside??

Yep, it is confetti from our last night in Disney at the Wishes Dessert Party! DH had collected it off of the table when I wasn't looking to make me a pendant with! He even put a hidden Mickey in the bail (not really hidden, but you know what I mean!)

He usually makes pendants from people's flowers (prom, wedding, funerals, etc.) but said he didn't want to get arrested for picking flowers in Disney World! :rolleyes1

Anyway, he is the sweetest DH in the world (right now) and I had to share with everyone I know who will appreciate it!

Subbing!!:surfweb: (better late than never) Miss you!

Based on personal experience, burritos can have an effect for several days..:rolleyes1

I had jalapenos tonight and my stomach is paying the price right now.

It has taken me 3 days but I'm caught up again!:thumbsup2

Oh my the poop story and comments had me rolling. :rotfl2:

Your budget is very detailed. I've put aside some money now I need to work out the budget to make sure they fit.

Wendy I'm glad to hear your father's pain is better. I'll continue to keep him and your family in my prayers.

Also good luck with your new eyes!

I am still fine tuning my budget.

OK I've been lurking again for a while because I barely have time to breathe anymore but I had to interject and tell you that I saw a black 4Runner with a California plate on the highway the other day and I secretly drove faster to be next to it to see if it was you. This is the 2nd time I saw it and I can't remember if I told you about it the first time or not. But I proudly add myself to the list of Secret Jordan Stalkers. ;)

Ha! I'm still loving my 4runner. I can't believe there's one with CA plates all the way out there.

Being busy will help the time pass faster.....don't worry, I'll keep everyone in line while your working.;)

Between the 2 of us, we get wreak, errrr... I mean rustle up some real fun! :cool1:

I had a mental image of you cracking the whip like Indiana Jones! {insert Indy theme music here} :lmao:
:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Seems like you've been doing a good job so far.

Goodness...I'd gladly trade places with you!

DISing for hours a day doesn't help me at all...just makes me want to go to WDW even more! And we're not even sure we'll be going Dec 2011 still. >_<

The DIS is bad for me right now. Someone pull out the needle and help me get off my addiction. :rotfl2:

The DIS is just like crack. Thank God it doesn't cost any money so far.

Don't worry - I'm feeling the same way this week. Well, the last two days anyway. I either have time to catch up on others TRs or my own- but not both! Here's to a relaxing weekend!:surfweb:

I have to work both Sat/Sun.:confused3

Someone with skilz has just got to photoshop Jordan's face onto that!!

I hope everything went okay! I'm sure it did. I bet by know you are marveling at the change in your sight.:magnify: So, what happened with mine. The first surgery went just fine, but as you will have found out, they tell you that your vision will fluctuate and you really won't be stable for a few months. So, when I felt like my vision wasn't all that clear at my 3 month follow-up, they told me not to worry. I didn't go back for my next follow up until about 11 months after the surgery. By that time, my vision had seemed similar to what you'd experience when you are wearing 5 year old glasses and you know its time for a new Rx. Sure enough, I was at 20/40. So, they did a "touch-up" which is really just a complete re-do, except that they do not have to cut the flap in your cornea again. They can just lift it right up. The second surgery was much more uncomfortable, and the recovery was worse. But the good news is, I'm definitely seeing 20/20 now. Although, I don't want to get too excited because I guess I could still fluctuate :confused3 Anyway, I know several people who had to have "touch-ups". Apparently it is quite common. Good luck, I hope your eyes are feeling great by now!

Ahhhh, yeah, I can see that (fluctuating)... based on how everyone's eyes heal... I do also have a 1 year "guarantee" so that I can go back throughout that year if there's a problem... because my eyes were so bad, I don't have a lifetime guarantee (most TLC patients are, but about 20% aren't) but a year is ok for me...

Interesting that the "fix" was more uncomfortable... why do you think that was?

Anyway, I am loving it so far and it's pretty amazing technology. When I went back yesterday for my post op, I was already 20/25 in one eye and 20/20 in the other, and only 70% healed so I can only imagine it'll get better... my close vision was still a little blurry but over the day today it's gotten better. There are still patches of blurriness here and there, in varying distances, but I'm ok knowing that it'll just get better...

Amazing!!! :cool1:

Oh! And I got my Magical Express tickets today! Whoo hoo! :woohoo:

I can't believe it's only 3 weeks away! I have TOO MUCH TO DO!!!!! :faint:
