Millie, I have those bags! I love 'em! There are lots of extra packing helpers in there - garment bag, shoe bag, divided snap in "stuff holders" Really light and sturdy! I'm glad you were able to find what you wanted!

You do?!? I'm so glad to hear someone who loves their bags. I'm typically a careful shopper, I did my research and felt I was making a good buy, but you never know. We have this same brand in a forest green from like 10 years ago, and it's held up well, but I wanted something girly and pretty. I'm so thrilled you like them, I'm so thrilled I'm gonna like them!!
I knew there was something I really liked about you, we have the same taste in luggage! "Weeza, you know I luv ya more than my luggage." One of the best one liner movies ever, well that is besides Princess Bride. Gotta run, ballet class for the girlie. Bah!

Good news Baby Bree is doing better!!!

I am working 12 hour days till I leave to get all caght up !!!Went in at 8 am and left at 8 pm !!! Tomorrow should be another busy one but I am determined to be on top of everything so coming back wont be a Nightmare !!

Chapter 80. Dreaming big..then i woke up

You know sometimes when you're dreaming,you dream big? Of course, when planning this trip, I dreamed big. I had memories of my last trip in 08 floating in my head. I thought about my return to Typhoon Lagoon...Heaven on Earth....

So I planned 2 days to TL. Of course, I also knew weather could be a factor. I thought surely in 12 full days that there would be 2 days with 75 or above temps.....Well........not so much. The 10 ten forecast has a few days in the low 70s, but none in the TL range of high 70's, low 80's. Weather being weather, all that could change, but so far most days show highs in the 60s.

Instead of changing the itinerary this late in the game, I am leaving things as they are. However, I do have a few ideas cooking just in case Typhoon Lagoon definitely becomes a non-option. Miniature Golfing may become an option as one round free comes with the Magic Your Way Package. I wouldn't necessarily want to go by myself so we'll see how this option pans out. Spa Massage is another option, although less desirable because of the additional costs involved. I do love a good massage. So I keeping that as an option. Sea Raycers is a viable option. I've done this 3 times before and it's a total blast--well worth the cost.Seeing a few movies at DTD is also an option since I haven't seen a movie in awhile. I haven't seen Avatar yet. There are a slew of romantic comedies coming out so I could go see one of those if I can put up with seeing couples making out...

So many, many options. TL is still my first choice. I'm trying to gauge my temperature threshold for going. If it's high 60s, it probably will be dead at TL. I can have the park to myself....

So I went shopping for shoes today... I can almost understand what women go through when they go shopping for shoes...I totally have this idea what kind of shoe I want. I have it in my head. Merrell, Keen, Ecco.....shoes I have purchased before. I know they have good quality shoes . I am brand loyal. I then walk into Nordstrom and am blinded by Puma shoes. I see like 3 shoes that I like. I pick 2 and bought one pair! So not what I was going to buy, but I love them....What just happened to me????!!!!!!! Ah...so this is what it's like to be a woman among shoes....

I am wearing them a ton so I can break them in before the trip....

Okay so we went ice skating with the youth group on Saturday. It was my first time in over 25 years...

Tongue...

I've got lots to do over the next 3 days!

All of these places you listed are some of my favorite places EVER. I can't believe you have worked at all of these places. Disneyland, Souplantation, AND Cheesecake Factory? Wow, what a great job history.

I am so jealous that you live so close to DL that you can just stroll down there for a Disney fix. The GC is one of our favorite places on property. We always schedule a little time to just hang out in the lobby while we are there. I like to eat at Storytellers too, so it is a very relaxing couple of hours. I'm sure you have seen it at Christmas time?

I loved each job for different reasons. I am a better person because of each experience.

I have seen GC at Christmas. I love that hotel. It really is the closest thing to WDW that DLR has. So it really transports me to a great place even though I'm less than 10 minutes from my house.

I love the photo you took in Downtown Disney where the monorail is sorta over your head.. how cool is that?! If that doesn't get you in a vacation mood, nothing will!

The monorail also passes by the Grand Californian. It's pretty cool.

I'm impressed that you remained on your feet ice skating after that long. I tried it a few years ago with our youth group and my tag is a result of that. My butt and the ice became intamatly aquainted.

I would probably go to the water park with high 60's low 70's but then, I'm up here where it's freezing so to me it would be nice and warm.

Less than a week

Buying a gift card for souvies is such a great idea. It's so much easier than carrying cash.

I don't like using credit cards so the gift card keeps me on track with souvenir spending. When the money on the gift card is gone, no more spending on souvies!

I actually liked the other Pumas I tried on better, but they were more my usual style. I decided to go for it with these shoes. I'm pretty happy with them. They are super comfortable.

I only fell once and I kinda just fell slowly on my knees. I think we're going again in March or April. Everyone had a great time!
