I know I've said it before- but Franklin's pictures are crazy-awesome. Who needs to see the actual parade?

I know, right? He's so talented. I wouldn't be able to write my TRs without his gorgeous compositions!

Yeah, I'd hoped to be farther along than this, but last week got eaten up by a big project I was assigned at work. Darn work getting in the way of my Dising!

Parkhoppers are the best, I know why some people like trips better without them, but our trips just wouldn't be the same.

More is on the way, I promise. I'm working on the next chapter as we speak.

Sounds like a plan! I love helping people plan (you can often find me over on the Theme Park and Restaurant threads, helping people craft their itineraries). With your new DVC contract, you have so many fun vacations ahead of you to plan!

We last left off with Franklin’s AMAZING Main Street Electrical Parade photos. The parade was a huge hit with our crew and it ended about 10 minutes before Magic, Memories and You was scheduled to begin. I had originally planned for us to get snacks or a light CS dinner sometime between the parade/show/fireworks. But one glance around at the sea of people surrounding us, and I knew there was no moving.

Soon, the lights dimmed... It was showtime! There are lots of photos, consider yourselves warned...

This next part was my favorite, it was the romance section they had added for Valentine’s Day.

The romance section also included my favorite part of Tangled: the scene with all the floating lanterns. It was so beautiful.

The splashy ending set the stage for Wishes, which would serve as the finale of our Magic Kingdom evening trifecta.

OMG. When I watched that Valentine's Day segment on youtube, I seriously CRIED when I saw the lantern part... I mean it makes me cry when I watch the movie too, but I guess seeing it on the castle is just a whole different thing. That's seriously my favorite movie now (it can tie with Little Mermaid). GLORIOUS! I wish they were still showing the romance segment this summer! Although it would be a little out of place, I suppose. Okay, please forgive me. I'm such a rambler sometimes... ugh.

I know what you mean, Tangled definitely ranks up there among Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo for my favorite Disney movies.

I kind of think that's the best part about Magic, Memories and You... they seem to be constantly changing and updating it, so it's always new each time you see it! I can't wait to see what surprises they have in store for the fall. ​

Thanks for the compliments! Our last trip I had set up for Wishes and was shooting was on the wrong camera settings for Magic, Memories and You. This time I was prepared.

It is amazing how many different personalities the castle can have and that so much magic that can be projected onto an already beautiful showpiece.

Le Cellier is SO GOOOOOOD! I know some of the popular restaurants (like Le Cellier and 'Ohana) can sometimes take a beating on these boards (you can't please everyone) but both meals we've had at LC have been perfect and we can't wait to go back. It looks like we're going to skip it in October, but it's back on our list for January!

It was really hot out, I'm sure Lala just wasn't in the mood for steak. I know if Franklin and I hadn't shared one, I probably wouldn't have ordered one. That's the only problem with LC, we like it for lunch, but steak can be a bit heavy in the heat.

The F&G Festival was simply stunning. Epcot is already a gorgeous park, but the added color just makes everything unbelievably beautiful! I hope you get to see it in person some day!

I see you're going to Disney a few weeks after us in October, what kind of plans have you made?​

Hey there! I've been on a DIS hiatus but I had to come check out your TR! I agree about LC being amazing - we've only eaten there once but it was one of the most memorable meals we've had! And that makes sense about not wanting a big hunk of hot meat for lunch on a hot day ! I didn't think about it being lunchtime. I hope I get to see F&G sometime too! I love going in the fall but a springtime trip needs to be in order soon.

As for our plans, we're doing a few firsts as far as dining: Ohana on our arrival night, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Coral Reef, and a few character breakfasts (CP and Tusker House)! We're staying at POFQ (first time at a mod). Like you, we're doing the less crowded parks even if that means no nighttime shows on the days we're there - we're getting hoppers so we can see the shows IF little one is up to it! This trip will be much different since it's the first one with a child, so we're going to have to go with the flow and slow down a bit! We're also planning to do our son's first haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop and spend more time than usual with the characters. Can't wait!!

Just have to again at Franklin's photos - they are so magical and really capture the beauty and excitement perfectly!

Your plans sound AMAZING! POFQ looks like so much fun. It's nice and compact, which will be perfect for having the little one there.

We loved 'Ohana and CP (you must try the puffed french toast). The other restaurants sound like lots of fun. I've been toying with the idea of a late morning breakfast at Tusker House for October.

Wishes was just spectacular, as usual. It never fails to bring a tear to my eye. I was a little worried that Tanner would be scared of the noise. But Lala had him sitting up on top of the stroller and he was giggling and clapping through the whole show! This kid was MADE for Disney World.

After the show was over, we had to figure out what to do. The park would still be open for another couple of hours but with an early-morning arrival planned for DHS the next morning, we decided getting a little shut-eye was more important than an extra ride or two. We turned the stroller and scooter and headed up Main Street. And this was the sea of humanity we were faced with.

If you remember, the plan had been to grab a snack or dinner between nighttime events, but that never happened. So on our way home, we stopped to get food at Chick-Fil-A. Lala ended up getting a milkshake that was more whipped cream than actual milkshake.

When we got home, everyone lounged around the living room and watched some TV. I also caught up on my trip journal. And soon, we couldn’t keep our eyes open, so we turned in for the night. Another FABULOUS Disney day was in the books. We had another big day coming up, our last full day of our trip. We had DHS, Sci-Fi- Dine-In and ‘Ohana on the schedule, so there’s lots of TR fun ahead!​

Flipping through them to write the chapter today made me want to go back RIGHT NOW. Even though that voice in my head says it's 100 degrees and really humid/sticky in Florida right now. But it's pretty warm and sticky here in D.C., so I think I'd rather be at WDW.
