Pecos Bills - Horrible kids meal choices!

We just returned from Disney and I have to say that b/c it was so crowded, we decided rather than fighting the crowds to find somewhere else, we ate lunch at Pecos Bills. It's true - they really only have a sloppy joe or some sort of cold chicken meal for kids (not at all appetizing to most "picky" kids)! Anyway, instead we ordered two CS adult double cheeseburgers and ask for two extra buns (which they did let us have). It worked out okay, but Disney should at least provide a child burger meal for the kids.

Just thought I'd mention this so those making plans can take this into account when planning CS meals in MK!

Thanks for the heads up. Pecos Bills was some place I was considering for our lunch in MK, but it sounds like perhaps NOT!

I didn't research kids CS meals before my last trip in December. What a nightmare. I remember lunch at Pecos Bills -- the kids wouldn't eat anything! I think they had the sugar-free jello and nothing else. Needless to say, I'll be checking out CS menus before the next trip

Pecos Bill's has not offered a kids burger for quite some time. There have been many posts regarding the unavailability of a kids version of the house specialty...burger at Pecos Bill, pizza at Pizzafari, etc.

That is why before heading to the world, it is worth taking some time to review the counter service offerings at different parks so that you can find some that appeal to your entire family.

For my family, my older son (9) does not care for the kids options, and frankly they are just to small for him. So we generally order 1A meal (perhaps double burger or the chicken/fish combo at Columbia Harbor House) and he splits w/ DH (getting an extra bun at PB). My younger son (4.5) usually likes the kid offering or I'll order another A meal and he and I will split.

THis really upsets me as when I go I love their chicken wrap and my DS won't eat anything there so this next trip we are FINALLY trying somewhere different in the MK as we have always eaten Peco's Bills. They used to have a hot dog for kids, but last year when I was there they had beans with hot dogs in it (do they still have this?) I was so mad. My son likes beans AND hot dogs,but not like that.

We ate at PB's in Dec because it was the only place not crowdedand my DH really likes it. DD5 would not eat anything on the kids menu so, while my DH was in line with her at PB's, I made a run for Pinocchio Village Haus for a pb+j for my DD,which didn't take too long. Next time will grab the pb+j then head to Pecos Bill's.

Dd7 doesn't care for the kids' choices at Pecos Bill either. She shared my chicken wrap last week

Im Dec I ordered the Sloppy Joe kids meal and a cheeseburger meal. I ate the sloppy joe and my DS9 at the burger and with me too. It worked out well and the sloppy joe was pretty good. Hope this helps.

I think Pecos Bill has the worst kids meals in the whole resort - and that's saying something. My child won't eat either offering.

On our trip last year we ate at Peco Bill's for the first time (we love Columbia Harbour House and always eat there when at MK) . It was the first time and the last. I had the chicken wrap ( which was gooey) and my son had a hamburger which he said tasted like sawdust. Needless to say we left there still hungry.

It's crazy to think a burger place wouldn't have a kids burger. We plan on getting the double cheeseburger and extra bun for my 8 year old.
