Pearson Airport - Term. 1 & Shuttle from Discounted Parking

Anyone one recently parked at the discounted long-term lot and taken the shuttle train to Terminal 1 at Pearson and, if so, would you mind let me know how it went?

(Last three trips, we've parked in the terminal because we didn't want to take a chance on the length of time to wait for a bus to take us to the terminal.)

Thinking about dropping off the family with the luggage at the departure's level at T1 and going on my own to park the car. Another option would be to drop of the family and luggage near where the train picks up and then parking the car. What's the likelihood that where I park my car will be a long walk to where the train picks up?

Depending on how many people and the amount of luggage, it might be better dropping off the luggage and family at Departures and then park and take the train back. If you go to the furthest lot (6B), which is on the far side of the walkway, it is free to park there. However it is also used as employee parking, so depending when your flight is, the lot could be very full and it will be quite a distance to the walkway to the APM (train).

Park at the Reduced Rate Parking Lot with the Tram. It is extremely easy and inexpensive and quick.
