Peanut allergy and hot dog buns

He actually came back with a wheat allergy too ... I was like umm isnt that in like everything? lol

Thanks for the reassurance. He was clear for peanuts but came back with a slight treenut reaction. He is so cute though, because I havent given him any peanut butter or anything (were just cleared for the peanuts) he will pick a snack and run to ask *mommy ... this ok for ME too* too precious.

Note to self ... pack tons of A-ok snacks for the parks

I am already planning my son's goody bag for the parks. Because he's too young for the dining plan I'll probably pack his lunch when we go to the parks, but, a goody bag of snacks is now just standard procedure...I even bring my own cupcakes to birhday parties for him.

Just spoke with the allergist (his final blood test results are back) I was told the blood test did not reveal any peanut or treenut allergy. I should still avoid these items until he is 3 though.
I was also told he is fine to have wheat since that is all he has ever had .. the reaction was not large enough for me to worry about changing anything
She did say we need to avoid Eggs in their pure form (IE eggs, french toast, etc)

DD 10 has a peanut allergy, and she's never had trouble with any of the food at Disney, including the breads.

We don't avoid any foods at Disney, either, but if we eat at a new place like Teppan Edo last week, we ask and they usually have someone come out and talk to us. Next time we eat there we know she'll be fine without having to check.

She's fine with shared facilities, etc. She actually has to eat a peanut to react-she can spit it out and be fine, so our guard level may be lower than most allergy people.
