whats the most unusual thing youve ever eaten willingly? Ive eaten grubs (lots of protein), grasshoppers (legs get stuck in your throat), rocky mountain oysters (wont even go there) and many other things. Some of them I even ate at FW, well OK just 2 love bugs cant eat just one!
Whats your most unusual dish?
I know theres lot of campers and hunters out there whod like to share their stories, so heres your chance .
I always wanted to use this smilie, but never had a reason before, I don't actually have a reason now.

Not a dish I would order out. I have also had Rattlesnake which really is not that bad and most recently just tried fried Mullet gizzard. This is another dish I would not order out either unless you like chewing on rubber tires. Although not really out of the ordinary, I love Escargo and Soft Shell Crabs. One thing I will NEVER try again is YAGERMEISTER!
I think I would rather eat Opossum topped with fried Mullet gizzards than drink that stuff (putting it politely) ever again.
BTW the only of those I really didn't care for was the wild boar, just too "gamey" Some of the "MORE" strange stuff was when I was in the Navy overseas and had stuff like Shark fin, soup, snake, turtle soup, and pigeon in places like Hong Kong and Singapore and I'm sure some that I wasn't even aware of when eating in some of the side walk restaurants in Singapore. It even got stranger when we got to the Indian Ocean and hit places like Iran, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Somalia. There I had camel, ostrich, gazelle, water buffalo and I'm almost sure it had to have been dog in Somalia. Many times the host countries Navy or local military hosted banquets for us and there was some really strange food served at those so I probably ate some stuff even more disgusting and never knew it.
